^ Agreed. Balance is one thing I keep pushing for with Pokemon. Every Pokemon should have a chance in competitive as everyone has different favorites.

Things I'd like to see

A removal of the movement grid
ALL Pokemon usable with the Pokemon Amie
A complete overhaul of Base Stats of all Pokemon to bring balance and insure competitively with all Pokemon
No more broken Abilities on Pokemon with broken Movesets (Dragon Dance and Moxie...)
No more Pokemon with broken Abilities
The ability to change a Pokemon's Ability at will (Like Pokemon Conquest)

Things I'd like to see go

Stealth Rocks
Shell Smash
Any Power Creep from BW
 
Uh... The roundtable confirmed they're working on some sort of communicaiton with the past gen. It's gonna be like G/S was to R/B probably.

I'm expecting some kind of app you can download from the e shop that allows you to store Pokemon from BW/2 that you can put into XY from the games menu or something. I dont think they would force anyone to have 2 3/DS systems.

You mean like how going from BLW to BLW2 required two DS systems?

Its different because both games are on different hardware. Its easy for a ds game to talk to another. Plus both BW games were built on the same platform whike XY are not. Both games have different file systems. I'm not sure how they are going to do it but I'm sure they will figure it out.

As was Marill a mono-water type. You're argument is invalid. I think it's quite possible for Pikachu to be Electric/Fairy combo if Marill is a Water/Fairy combo.
 
Pikachu being half fairy means it gets better as a Pokemon. Its speed stat already hits 306, can use Light Ball to raise both attack stats to 400+ or near it, has a very good move pool and gain immunity to every dragon type attack. Seems OP is they do it.
 
Comes out exactly one week after my birthday. Here's hoping my life is cushy enough to buy a 3DS and it when it releases.
 
As for the new Pokemon, I'm satisfied so far. But I wanna see some starter evolutions dammit :mad:

That aside, Noivern is pretty cool looking. Flying/Dragon is meh. With Fairy types coming about, Dragons may have some competition. Still it looks epic.

Vivillon seems like your standard frilly bug Pokemon, with the ever-so-common Bug/Flying combo. Not that impressed...

Sylveon is now officially Fairy type. This will likely be a popular choice for many players. But if Sylveon is in the game, we are obviously getting the other Eeveelutions.

Clauncher is one of my favorites so far. We get another crustacean Pokemon. Here's to hoping it doesn't suck or its possible evolution doesn't suck. I really want it to be my Water type.

Skrelp. Hmm... Uhh... next!

Litleo is an oddity. Fire/Normal is a weird type combo. A little too early to judge.

Flabebe? Really? Hard to believe it can stand up to Dragons being another Fairy type.

Talonflame (so imaginative... lol) is a Fire/Flying type. Probably an evolution of Fletching. Seems cool enough...
 
Dont judge skrelp to fast with that water typing it can work on rain dance teams and poison is going to be super effective against fairy types

Same here, but I've already got the Pikachu 3DS and a gift card to pay for the game. Just waiting for the day. Kinda strange that this is the first time in I don't know how long that I'm actually looking forward to fall even before we've had summer! LOL.
