Poltergeist and Unown G

Hi, When a Gengar uses Postergeist on a pokemon that has an Unown G what happens ? The damage from Poltergeist would be 0 since Unown G prevents all effects from my opponent's attacks and he is no longer able to see my hand with that attack so 30 x 0 = 0 or the effect of that attack is on the player not for my pokemon with Unown G.

Thanks for your time.

Dietrich, pkmn trainer.

Looking at your hand is done to you, not to the Pokemon that G is attached to.
So, he can look at your hand.
The damage done is... damage. Unown G does not prevent damage.
It has no impact on this attack.
Everything happens normally.
