Guessing A at this point but B is definitely the best option. Hopefully POP's record of listening to the players will shine through here.
You must remember, though, the players can still be wrong. Look at Lost World. About half of the community did not want it released. Now that it has been released, it isn't a top deck as everybody said it would be. It is our jobs as players to form logical conclusions as to why B is the better choice to ensure that nobody in POP has any doubt that that is what we all believe and agree on. We need to convince them why that is the best option. On Lost World, we were all mixed and very few people had good arguments for or against Lost World's release. It being in CoL was the better choice even though about 50% of the community disagreed.Guessing A at this point but B is definitely the best option. I hope its c but it wont be c, ill take a over b then, that would at least be fun, pokemon ftw weeks.
And @the guy above me
No hype, just uxedonk that always can do its stuff t1, that deck kills 4 pokemon turn 1 PERIOD. And with sableye you can go first more often and alwys win t1. Sounds fun
Looking at the big picture, Nationals is a few weeks later than last year. And the introduction of this next set is a few weeks earlier than last year. Why would they schedule things like that?
They released HGSS TCG before HGSS VG last year.
They released Platinum TCG WAAAY before Platinum VG.
DP was done very similarly to this, right down to the terrible filler PK set.
Just saying that it's been done before with the TCG leading the VG.
Marketing.
Black and White (the video game) came out at the beginning of March. They want the TCG set out as soon as possible after that to capitalize. This is why we're already seeing preview items on store shelves, even though the set proper is a month away.
