Don't read this thread if you're one of the purists who doesn't want to know ANYTHING about the game until you play it. However, any of the spoilers here will be small, and pretty much stuff you would know anyway from either watching the trailer, or form playing like the first 2min of the game. Please do not post really big spoilers here should they come up.
So, have you guys seen the opening cinematic yet? It was posted on the games official Japanese site, and some wonderfully kind person took the time to translate it into English. Again, don't watch if you don't want to know anything, but if you don't care, it really doesn't give away anything much about the game.(after all... it is the opening cinematic, and they never DO give away much, since that would kind of defeat the point...)
If you're unsure if you want to watch it or not, I would say just do it. It's like every other zelda intro for the most part. In short, forces of darkness (as always) are trying to take over the lands, and steal power from the gods (ohhh such a big surprise).

So far, everything I've read on the game (including several articles by people on IGN who have played 9 hours of it), it's looking like this could be one of the greatest, if not the greatest Zelda game ever.
