Presidential Race Discussion (Romney NOOO!!!)

<--Independent. lol, seems a bit silly to go and vote in the Primary eh?

First off, your primary is already over!

Secondly, it isn't silly for independents to vote in a primary. That way, you have a little bit more say in the two-party system, and help ensure (or avoid) a certain candidate.

The only "downside" (if you even call it that) is being an official member of the party whose primary you vote in until the end of the year; however, your party affiliation has NO bearing on who you can or can't vote for in the general election (in other words, you can STILL VOTE FOR ANYONE!!!).

Um...
I can't vote for the Candidate I support, who is Republican, because I am Independent, meaning I have no say in either the Democratic or Republican Primary.

Second, I am well aware my primary passed. Though looking at my other post, perhaps I should have put seemed instead of seems to clear that up....

Third, I am going to vote in the General election, I was merely making a joke about the Independent party's candidate for the Presidency.
...

Giuliani: immediately endorsed McCain due to his inevitability; Rudy "knows" he'll get the position if McCain wins the general election.
And they both support invariably making government larger in every area.
As for the general election, I predict that I will be voting-and campaigning for-John McCain.
He's so similar to the Democrats, why even bother?
Who's gonna vote for hillary?
not to be secsist or anything but I just don't think a female should rule...
lol at irony

I meant like rule as in do what ever the mess presidents do
but think about... if a female pres. had a mood swing or something she might do something bad - oh,I dunno -declare war? Blow up EARTH!?!?!? I think I'm carrying it out of proportion (just a little)

Congress declares war. The blow earth thing is too stupid for me to comment on, just shows how much of a sexist you are, and how sad you'll be come November.

I think what Mew meant, is that if Mrs. Clinton becomes president, that shell cause us grief by starting a war, and getting us messed over by countries who dont like women, or want to pick a fight with the US cuz they think a Woman as our Leader is a sign of weakness...I agree with most of that except the weakness bit...Shes certainly NOT that...

actually, you could have voted in your primary even if you are ind. by declaring a party before you vote, and at the end of the year you go back to original status by going to your town hall and swithing status with town clerk. But as you said it is to late

Can't vote in my state since I'm an independent, but I'll end up supporting whatever democratic nominee in the end.

Except I couldn't care less about my own party's presidential candidate. Unless you mean I can simply switch parties by going and declaring I am part of their party?

No primary here until March. And I can't believe the sexism that's running rampant about Hillary. We've got racist dems on one end, and sexist dems on the other. People who keep saying that war will be declared if Hillary has a mood swing....take a look at yourselves and see how bad that sounds. Men have mood swings too. And not all women get PMS. Gotta love stereotypes that come out of assumptions like that. I support Hillary as a person due to the simple fact that she's able to express emotion. Getting a little choked up is not a sign of weakness. I'm just terribly frustrated by the sexism going on about Hillary possibly becoming president. What makes a woman less of a ruler than a man? I would love to hear a well thought out and valid answer.

WOW.
Officially the worst post I've seen on any forum, ever.

It's sad how people in our free country America seem to think the only people competent enough to lead are [Caucasian] men. What, do women not have brains? Are they inferior to men, therefore unable to lead the country? It's not the stone-age anymore, people need to stop being so ignorant and stereo-typical.

On another note,
Hillary won New York and California, yay!

Super Tuesday big winners:

John McCain. He grabs a fairly commanding lead in the GOP delegate race.
Mike Huckabee. He wins something, which nobody thought was possible before Iowa.

Super Tuesday big losers:

Mitt Romney. My, how the tables have turned. Money can't buy a Presidency.

Super Tuesday "what's going on?!?":

Obama vs. Clinton. This race is close. VERY close. It will probably go down to the last state primary to decide this one. The fate of the Western World is in the hands of South Dakota and Montana, who combine to hold the final 42 delegates in this race.

2008- AKA The Religion War xD

D: It's Mainly Hilary(Methodist) *so she claims XD*
vs Obama (? xD *edit) now the 3rd guy isn't getting much of anything.

it seems the Latinos and whites are going Hilary and Blacks going with Obama.

R:
Mike Huckabee (Baptist Preacher ) is using his religious beliefs and having him referred to as "Pastor Mike" on TV is pathetic :p. I rather see Huckabee win than a Democrat though that's for sure. However his stance on border control is a little fuzzy.

MCCAIN (Baptist) is a little too liberal for me, he's a liberal Republican. His stance on the US boarders are also fuzzy, and if I remember right he's pro choice.

ROMNEY (Mormon): Secure the border ftw. Romney isn't a bad choice really. Wants to vut federal spending ect.

Paul (Baptist): Paul should win X)
