Problem after Log In

Hey guys so I recently downloaded Pokemone TCG Online and it installed without a problem, the thing is that after I open the program and log in my screen goes blank and my screen just says "no signal." I was wondering if anyone could give me a hand with this dilemma. xP

Huh that could be a number of problems. It could be some kind of problem with your video card driver since it sounds like your computer quits outputting a signal. Monitors typically display that message of "no signal" in such a case.

If it's not a video card problem, perhaps you have a firewall or antivirus program enabled that is conflicting with the software. You will have to check your settings.

Ahh I see, well i doubt its a video card problem, I have a NVIDIA GeForce 7300 SE/ 7200 GS. I'll try Checking my firewall though.

Edit: I tried my firewall but there was no change in the issue.

it's 100% a video card or monitor problem. the game is causing your resolution to change and i doubt your monitor can handle the refresh rate at the resolution it's changed to.

only make these changes if you're experienced with modifying the registry, you can really mess up your computer if you don't know what you're doing so be careful-
1. go to start->run->type regedit and hit enter.
2. navigate to this- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\The Pokemon Company International\Pokemon Trading Card Game Online
3. find the value 'Screenmanager Is Fullscreen mode......' if it's set to 1 then double click it and set it to 0.
4. also make sure the value 'fullscreen_......' is set to false

this should fix your problem

GravyBeast's suggsetion is very good. If the program is too large for your monitor to display in full screen mode, you can view it windowed. Once you have it forced to open in windowed mode (per Gravy's instructions), you can drag it to see the necessary portion. Change the settings within the program to display a lower resolution.

I'm not saying its not correct, just that it unnerves me a little to see a completely unknown new user being instructed to change their registry.

The OP is unlikely to be very young, but could easily be a minor. I wouldn't want to tell a kid how to change their registry, I have enough trouble getting them to write out a decklist!

i did leave a very clear warning. the registry is nothing to mess with if you don't have experience doing it. i could very easily make an exe or simple registry file to take care of changing these entries will a simple double click but i'll just leave it up to ptcgo if they want to help users fix this problem.
