Not much because they can only be worn when working a pokemon event.

Well, there are certain penalties associated with a Professor wearing his lab coat outside of a Sanctioned Event.

I would check with TPCi before selling, just to make sure there aren't those same penalties for selling a lab coat.

The Lab Coat is a "Work Uniform". When a Professor has on the lab coat he/she is a representative of the Pokemon brand. Mis-use and abuse are not acceptable.

You may only be able to wear it where you are working the tournament but there is nothing wrong with selling it. Once you earn you can sell it give it away or do what you want with it.

Their rule is that you can't wear it to a Pokemon event that you're not working at, as it would cause confusion and make people think you are on staff.

I have worn it at other times, occasionally as part of a Halloween costume, even at Nintendo World for an event.

It's your coat. Do what you want with it.
But don't wear it to a Pokemon event that you're not staffing.
