Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Professor Cup 09 info up!

It doesn't say that you'll be drafting vs your first SEF round opponent.

My bad, slight mistake.

Before the first single-elimination round begins, each player in the top cut will be assigned a table number, with two players seated at each table. Players will remove the basic Energy cards that they added to their deck at the beginning of the event, and then perform a Solomon draft with the other player at the table to determine which cards they will be playing with over the course of the single-elimination rounds.

Each Single Elimination player will still be Soloman drafting with another Single Elimination player, just not their 1st round opponent (hopefully).

If I was in any financial position to go to nationals this year, I would be so excited to play in this tournament.
This is just my opinion but I'd hate to try n' shuffle up so many cards without sleeves for the draft. I'm just picky about card condition sometimes, LOL.

This was my exact thought when I read what the draft was going to be! First of all, shuffling 160 cards is going to be tough enough, but out of almost half a box, there has to be at least one lv x, right? and all the holos and reverse holos!! Then again, POP is usually good about these kind of things, maybe each "pair" will get the same sleeves from a leftover event like a prerelease so that before they draft they don't know who's is who's? Not sure...

Each person is getting 8 packs, so that is 80 cards. Each team would have to get 3 packs of sleeves (180 sleeves) to cover the 160 cards pulled from the 16 packs. I doubt that will happen. I guess, just hope the person stack shuffles instead of riffling.
