Professors, check your My Pokemon account and you will see that a second round of Beta testing has started for two weeks. See your My Pokemon page for more details.

The test looks good, other than lots of typos in the questions. I got 22 out of 25

for some odd reason, it's not showing up in my page...

Did you fail the last one? LOL :D Sorry, couldn't resist.

I'd just reply to the email you got letting us know that it was available, and let them know it's not available for you. Perhaps they'll set it up for you before the end of the month.

So how does this one look?

Well, IMNSHO, it has been made, somwhow, too easy...I was able to run through the 25 questions in about 15 minutes.

They DID add the full card text to questions, which I thought was really good!

I've given it only 1 run-through so far, and plan to do more to see more questions...

same thought, only 2-3 hard questions, come on, if Ives can pass it on the first try, someones messing (or missing) something; in general, the exam is indeed clearer, no more excuses as in "i did not understand the question" way, perhaps the problem is that the options are very clear, no more room for similar options pon this one, and yes, 10-15 min is what everynody is taking to answer the test.

Would you say it's easy because the test is clear and you are qualified and know the rulings and procedures and therefore are able to answer the questions or would someone who does not know enough be able to pass because it's too easy?

I think that everyone with a little of experience in the TCG is able to pass the test (except for the Penalty questions that are really difficult also for us). I'm not sure that it's the best way to select in a professional way new Profs, but only it gives a chance to may guys that know the game, and maybe may become Professor... but we're not sure what they really can do.

The first time I got 19 out of 25. HOWEVER, I accidentally hit the enter key on my keyboard at that time, and I was working on question 21 (so I got 19 out of 20). So I sent a report about that behavior and hopefully it gets changed.

Second time I got 23 out of 25. Good times!

The first time i took it yesterday, the page didn't fully load for me (only noticed this after i answered the first question and started reading the second when i noticed only half the second loaded and nothing else). So i refreshed and whoops big mistake. So i had to wait to take it a second time. (left feedback stating it did not load fully the first time so if it's happened to you - let them know).

I took it 2 more times and did not have a problem loading. Nor passing. I did find several mistakes that i emailed them (TM's Groudon vs Ray ex) and i have a big issue with the Ludicolo with Mewtwo EX on the Bench vs Crobat one - a very big issue). I did find 1 card that did not have its text fully displayed. And i didn't like the choices given for the Kent & Tom question. So i left feedback about those. Hopefully i'll be able to take it again.

no sign of the professor test on my MyPokemon account either. But then I didn't get a pin/card either. guess I'm not a professor anymore? of the five UK professors listed 2 are no longer involved in the game.

(I did get the Plusle Minum Christmas card last year which was a nice surprise.)

I just wish that the designer turned on the "no right click" feature until after beta testing was finished. It's hard to report errors or give corrections when you can't copy the question.

I think they want us to use the question code numbers for reporting errors ... you see them at the start of each question ... M15, T2, R15

Apart from that ... i like it.

I had a problem with the number of rounds question ... i knew the answer, but would the general player thats not a TO ?? doubt it.

I have my doubt about R28
I will not post the Q or A but I don't agree with what's given as the correct answer.

Nopoke I found the test by scrolling down in My Pokemon, I forgot to do that and didn't find it in the first place.
Meaby you made the same mistake.

Perhaps one additional way to make the test work is too also require the aspring professor to judge a tournament under the supervision of an actual professor or tournament organizer, sort of like DCI's Judge's certification for Magic however much less demanding.

Another idea is that passing users must also have tournament history or referal. Basically if one of our judges say at Worlds did a good job and easily passed the test. Duh, let him in. However if a player out of the blue with no tournament running history passes the test then POP should find out why that player wants to be a professor or the player should have a letter of reference from their local TO or something proving he wants to help.

Just some ideas but what do you think?

Craig: I love that idea, i doubt it will be implemented, because it gives professors way too much power, but i really love the idea; POKEPOP: I believe that someone with little knowledge of the game but good common sense might be able to qualify for the pass on the exam, i dont want to have an exam that equals a phd, but honestly compared to the wizards one, this one came a lot easier, or at least thats what i felt.
