PTCG Online - Boosters with the code?

I seem to be having a hard time finding Black & White booster packs in my area with the online redemption code. The only products I have seen with any kind of online redemption stated on the box are the three preconstructed decks for the set.

Do the booster packs have any markings which signify that they contain a redemption code?

Yes. The Black and White booster packs with the beta codes inside have a symbol on the back stating that there is a code inside.

I don't have one to show you a picture, but it's made pretty clear. The image is the same as the one on the theme decks I think?

Hope this helps :)

Other than the theme deck code cards, the online redemption codes cards are available in packs pulled from booster boxes.

the B&W packs w/the online codes are only going to be found in hobby channel stores...i.e. your friendly local game/comic store...NOT big box stores like target, walmart, toys r us.

Ah, thanks 'mom. I'm still exploring the area, so I'll have to find a good local gaming store to acquire my packs.

Try using the Play! Pokemon event locator on Pokemon.com to search for local Pokemon Leagues, most leagues run in traditional game stores which may have the packs you are looking for.

Still no luck, I'm sad to say. I tried your suggestion earlier, MysteriousTrainer, and it seems that several local leagues are held at restaurants or other places which don't seem to sell Pokemon TCG products.

I did locate a store nearby today, and stopped by. They received a fresh booster box yesterday, but sadly the box was without codes. It makes me a little sore that I can't find online redemption codes, as my only interest currently is in the online game. I guess my only choice is to wait it out until August, or dump money on one of the preconstructed decks...

fyi: the deck codes are to unlock 'your' B&W deck in the trainer challenge, NOT for the TCGOnline beta...

Just buy the codes online. Saves you time and money. They're $10 for 20 at trollandtoad whenever they come back in stock. -.-
