Purple slip in UL packs?

Today at a BR, in someone's pack, there was a blank, purple slip of paper between 2 cards. Anyone seen this before/know why it happens?

If it's the size and shape of a card, it may be possible that when die cutting the cards from the full sheet that a piece of paper was stuck to the card stock electrostatically. I know that's happened in a box making company I used to work at over 20 years ago.

That actually happened to me. I got a blank brown peice of paper in a Japanese Neo starter deck years ago. I found it a few months ago and surprisingly it's still in pretty good condition. Here's a picture of it.
