Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

quick question how many pokemon catcher can you pull out of a booster box?

I bought 16 packs at the time and got 5. One of my friends got a box and pulled 2. Its really no more common or rare then any other uncommon.

just wondering because im trying to see if its worth to just buy them or just buy a box.

Back when the set first came out, the box I oppened had 3 Catchers and the box my friend oppened only had 1. Based on that alone I would assume it's very random and probably wouldn't be worth buying a box just to get Catchers.

I don't believe this is quite true. Even on release, it seemed more rare than an uncommon should be, which is 4/box. Now of course everyone needed a playset of them, so there was more focus on this card than others. If you could get on average 4 of these $15 cards, why are EPO Booster Boxes going for $93 on ebay? Is the whole rest of the box worth not more than $33?

I got 4 in my box.

Out of that and random EPO prize packs, I ended up with more Catchers than I did Recycle, Max Potion or Bianca (other Trainers of the same rarity).

There's no set ratio for how many copies of one uncommon you should get in a box at all. I've seen people open boxes and not get a single copy of an uncommon card. Sometimes people get only one. Other times they can get, like, six.

I've opened a Dragons Exalted box and only pulled 1 ex and even weirder was pulling no Gothita, so even commons aren't guaranteed apparently :p

Based on the dozen or so boxes I opened, the average was about 3 per box, although it did vary among boxes. The bottom line, however, is that if all you want are catchers, it's cheaper (and more certain) to just buy them as singles.
