Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

R-2 :Fight of all time : Most powerfull Anime char. who will win.

Speaking of sugary sweet pink heart attacks. . .
and because I can't find a youtube with JUST the attack: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nYWBpfi-fk @ 3:40
Transformation seqence @ 2:22.
Seriously, the Japanese are waaaaaaaay too pervy. Honestly, between Sailor Moon and the school girl outfits, this and the... what was that, a tennis outfit? And don't even get me started on the sailor uniform thing. Honestly, it's just plain crazy.

If you are citing Sailor Moon and Shugo Chara! (the transformation scenes are completely innocent) as examples of the Japanese being pervs, you obviously haven't seen anything yet. Amulet Heart is Amu's athletic and outgoing shugo chara, so the tennis-style outfit makes sense (her other two transformations look totally different).

Sounds like you just have a problem with the Magical Girl genre in general.

By the way, Shugo Chara's, Sailor Moon's, and most magical girl anime are targeted at young girls (there are plenty that aren't, however). Fission mailed.

Of course, in the end, target audience means nothing to everyone except advertisers.

Three words (or more accurately, two words and a particle). Kodomo no Jikan. Why the **** is it on the air, I can't get over this, but why is this trash on the air?

Exactly. Heck even citing something like Welcome to the NHK, Genshiken, Densha Otoko, or Akihabara @DEEP would have made a more convincing argument. It'd still be a flawed argument, but it'd make more sense at least.

EDIT: Another good example would be Moetan (Methodology Of English, The Academic Necessity). When that show isn't being hilarious, it's really, really creepy. The funny and the ridiculous, random English phrases ("I got episode twelve for that. Do you want to copy it?") kept me watching through a couple, but it's just too darn creepy in some respects to keep watching (even though the main characters are apparently older than they appear). ._.

I haven't seen densha otoko either, I know the premise is a little strange. But isn't the point to feel sorry for the poor otaku going after the girl?

Supposedly, it's based on a true story. However, that wasn't that part I was talking about, but rather the strange obsessions some of the otaku had. ^^; All of the shows I listed were otaku-centered.

Jun is just a hikkikomori, not a flaming otaku. Well, I guess he's technically an occult otaku, but that's totally different from the kind with the 2D complex that play dating sims, buy inappropriate figurines, and attend Comifes or such to purchase/sell doujin. . .

to purchase/sell doujin. . .
Doujinshi is not all inaproppriate. It's simply used to refer to independantly published manga, as opposed to a company. Granted, there are some that are inappropriate and that may even feature characters from well known anime, but that does not change waht a Doujinshi is...

Anyway, before I get reported for spamming... Azuma Kazuma from Yakitate!!: Japan. No contest. The boy with Solar Hands will defeat them all with the power of Reactions caused by his awesome bread! XP

You're not trying to suggest that most of the doujin sold at places like Comifes (or such conventions) AREN'T of the inappropriate variety, are you?

Cannabis Japan for the win?

Eh, it's those type of doujins that people like to buy. I'd post a funny comic I saw on an anime website that I saw, but it's definitely too inappropriate for this site.

I think he's only trying to say that not all doujins are hentai, and not anything more or less than that.

Granted, I think this is because he missed what types of doujins you were referring to, but that's neither here nor there.

this is not the time to discuss DBZ syndrome. You are right however.

You only win if you can tell us what anime Chuck Norris appeared in. Because if he didn't then this is one of the few instances in human existence where Chuck Norris doesn't win.

IIRC Chuck Norris appered in DBZ. Remember at the end of GT where Goku was said to have become a "god". Well he was acctually killed at lightning speed by Chuck, and the writters were so stunned they came up with a poor excuse fo an alby.
