Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

R2S #2 Champion: Goldedda

So... it seems that we are divided up into pods, and my pod has now completed their battles.

Could we start on round 2 early? :D

Edit @Shino: You can't really deny that hand shuffling will preserve and/or eliminate clumps in ways that produce different results than a pure randomization of the cards, though. A deck that is consistent in someone's hands might not be consistent on a computer. I'm kind of hoping to demonstrate this at some point... but eh.

I understand that the program may not properly facilitate luck, but its not the sole cause of luck. If this were a game like chess, where luck was removed from the physical game, and an online program changed that, then it would be a significant problem. With Pokemon, it still emulates completely plausible situations, and therefore i don't see the point in complaining, since we don't have to buy or trade for the decks we want in any way.

Seriosuly though, i totally get that i get hands in the game where i go "there's no way that just happened". Even when i run hyper consistnayc i get hands that starter decks would laugh at. But it happens in the physical card game to, so its just preparing me for the worst. Still, random effect =/= desired effect.

Bolded the part that truly touches me.

Of course, of course. :) I agree with all of this. I'm just kind of sensitive on the randomization issue because I'm a programmer and the idea that PlayTCG and Redshark were both "too lazy"(?) to properly simulate shuffling so that such discrepancy isn't noticeable bothers me. So I want to test it myself and now I get kind of upset when people talk about it, haha.

Lol, the randomizer is sometimes bad but you can still have that same luck in tournaments. (I've opened random stuff like 3 Juniper or 3 Catcher/1 Juniper and 4 junk arm)

Okay I just want clarify. I gave you the game out of an act of kindness knowing nobody is perfect. I didn't want to look stupid on the gym, so I am using this post to clarify.

I had 4 Junipers in hand at this years Worlds. It happens, get over it.

haha today in tcgo I went from drawing no supporter for four turns to getting getting two juniper off an ex ko and a third as my top deck.

I have been trying to arrange a much since Sunday however seems like my opponent don't have time to battle, giving him a bit more time though.

Going to play my match in about 30 minutes.
