rainbow energy + machamp prime

If my active pokemon has rainbow energy attached to it (along with basic fighting energy) and I have a machamp (prime) on my bench, can I use its poke-power to move the rainbow energies to it along with the fighting energies?

my initial thought on this is yes, since the rainbow energy provides fighting energy (along with the other colors) and machamp primes power states move all fighting energy (does not say "cards") to it.

I just thought I should get the ruling between the two cards confirmed before I try to use it this way in any tournament or at league.

Yes.
It wouldn't matter if had said "cards" or not. It is, after all, still a card.
What would have mattered would be if it had said "Basic".
Rainbow is not a Basic energy card.
