Hey, guys! I've got my second Battle Road in Rantoul coming up next month! Here's the details that I've finalized...

Location: Rantoul Public Library
.............106 W. Flessner
.............Rantoul, IL 61866

This is about 20 minutes north of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. If you're coming from the I-74 from the East, then just take the US-45 exit, and follow that North until you see the water park. Make a right, then an immediate left, then a right after the water park. The library will be after the first street on your right.

If you're coming from the I-57 or the I-74 from the West, then get on the I-57 and take exit 250 going East. Take a right at the first light after the train tracks, then take another right when that road dead-ends. Take a left when you see the small rocket, then an immediate right. Follow this road until you see Flessner, then take a left. The library will be on your right.

Time: 10:00 am Registration, 11:00 am Start

As for all Pokemon events, this is open for everybody who wants to come down!

You guys should already know the prizes, but I'll report them here just in case.

In each of the three age groups:

1st: 8 LA Booster Packs, 1 Victory Medal
2nd: 4 LA Booster Packs

In addition, everybody who enters will receive a FREE random Promotional card from the end of the WOTC era and the beginning of the PUI era. Yes, CLASSIC PROMOS!!!

Also, we will be holding a FREE raffle for everybody who enters. The grand prize of this raffle is YOUR CHOICE of either Pokemon Diamond or Pokemon Pearl, both for the Nintendo DS Gaming System. If enough people come, I might give away BOTH of the games!

Please make sure that you're on time for this event. The library closes at 5pm, and I REALLY don't want to cut it close with them.

If anybody needs a ride to the event from Champaign-Urbana, either PM me or email me, and I'll give you more details.
 
Awesome! It'll be good to see some "outsiders" invade this place!

Just posted my event on Facebook and Craig's List. Those probably have greater depth of information than what I posted here, mostly cuz I assumed that if you're reading here you already know the rules and regs for a Premier Pokemon event.

Wow! I knew that I'd have pretty decent attendance for this, but I didn't expect to see so many people, both locals AND out of towners! Especially considering that Indianapolis was on the exact same day (1.5 hrs away).

= 27 total!!! Plus who knows how many people showed up just to color the sheets I had set up in the back of the room!!!

Sounds like a great event Ryan! Congrats! And the pictures were wonderful... looks like a perfect venue too!
 
I just got the tournament uploaded. Anybody who came, could you PLZ give a response either here or on the PUI boards? Anything is good, it'll let us know what we can improve on for the next go around!
