Rating invites for world this year

Does anyone know what the cut is for rating invites this year is? last year it was 25 but i heard that this year it might be 50 or 75. does anyone know what it is for sure

25 for each division this year for NA...plus T8 for US nats, T4 for CA nats, T4 for mexican nats...

Yeah, but do remember invitations normally pass down a bit.
Jason is correct, with 25 with each division, but last year, it got all the way down to 35 for Juniors.
I assume at least a few Masters invites will pass down.

Does pass down mean that people in the top 25 already got invited via Regionals/Nats?

Invitations pass down from people that made Top 8 at Nationals.
If you made Top 8 at Nat. AND got a Ranking Invite, your invite passed down.

Or if someone who T4's Worlds last year is in the T25, it passes down as well. Last year the Master's pass down was more than it usually will be, since they ended up giving T16 at US Nationals all invites due to the pairings error.

ah cool. i thought it was T16, i'm already like 5th so no worries from me. T25 is a lot better IMO i wanna better chance of getting into worlds :biggrin:
