How often do they get updated and how do you view your own stats??
Like if i played in a tourney on 7/3/04 when would it be put into the system...

The TO has two weeks to enter a tournament.

If I have laptop access and use the TMS Software I usually have them entered the evening of my events. If i do it by hand its usually the next weekend when I can spare the time to do it manually.

I have looked and it shows up pretty soon and usually within a day or so the rankings change due to my event.

We got the TMS file for US Nationals this morning. There were 3 separate TRN files (one for each age group). Pete combined them all into one TRN file and uploaded it. Either the website had a problem with the size of the tournament or Pete did something wrong. The end result was that not all of the match results were uploaded(Jacy, the 15+ winner only showed up in the first two rounds, etc.). We immediately removed all of the uploaded match results from the site so that there wouldn't be any confusion.

Our Webmaster is taking a well deserved day off today but will be back on Monday. He should be able to fix it (we don't call him Master for nothing ;)). If he can't, we'd most likely set US Nationals as three separate tournaments (US Nationals 10-, US Nationals 11-14 and US Nationals 15+) and upload the results that way.

Why combine the 3 files into 1 ??

My logic suggested to me that uploading them as 3 seperate files would've worked better ... smaller files to process & less hassles for the TO having no need to combine them.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Back on subject ... It appears the rankings update every morning. I've uploaded tournament results in the evening & the players rankings have changed the next day.

MPJ,

It appears that Dave Schwimmer and PUI agree with you. At the South Stadium Challenge it was decided to sanction and upload seperate tournament files for the main events at Nationals, Stadium Challenges, and Worlds. This should speed things up. The South Statium results should be uploaded tommorow. :cool:
 
I am curious as to why people's ratings keep going up or down, when the tournaments haven't been updated yet. Is it a problem with the system, or is it supposed to do that? ^^; Thanks in advanced.

Yeah I agree with Shinobi on day I'm 10th place now I'm 11th and I go up 3 points one day and then down 1 and then up. But my Wins/Losses/Ties stay the same...Anyone know why? Thanks
