I took a break from playing the TCG around the time MD came out, but before i left i was interested in Rayquaza from JP spoilers. Looks like an amazing card that can create an amazing deck but i've been out of the game for so long (and from a format change) i don't know what to make it with

Now i'm back and i still want to make the deck. Any suggestions for a player getting back into the game?
 
Well, Rayquaza LA is a great card. Sadly, I haven't found a way to 'un-Tech' it. Because it's mainly used for it's Speed Gain Poke-Power to support various decks.
 
Basicly Energy Restoring and moving stuff.

Cards that do this are:
Stark Mountain (Stadium)
Energy Link (Poke-Tool)
Energy Pickup (Trainer)
Electivire SW
Typhlosion MT
 
Super Scoop up works too. It allows you to reuse the power, and get him out of the active position.
Try Electivire SW and Energy Link too, with two vire out all you need is one heads and you can hit for 150 from 0 energy.
