RB2 drums with GH4?

RB2 dosen't come out for wii until a month from now.

You don't need the madcatz cymbals. The game just compresses the note chart to fit your kit.

GHWT will recognize that you are attempting to play drums with RB2 drum kit and will alter the note stream to 4 instead of 5, eliminating the orange not stream. Using the Madcatz cymbal set doesn't add any new interfaces. They just utilize the same inputs as the normal yellow, blue, and green pads. If you hit the cymbals, it will register exactly the same as you hitting the pads. In GHWT, hitting the cymbals on RB2 drums will also still produce the same tone as hitting the pad, where as in RB2, hitting the cymbals produces a distinct cymbal sound depending on which plug it is utilizing (yellow-hi hat, blue=ride, green=crash), but they still count the same as hitting the pad of the same color.

So, to answer shorter, RB2 drums with or without Madcatz cymbals should work just fine with GHWT on the Wii, as long as they have the patch already on the game, since on Xbox 360 and PS3, the respective systems had to add the patches via their respective live online connections.

I hope that answers your question.
