Re-ask of Translation of reprints

I was unclear, I apologize.

I have a Switch that is not just a foreign card, but also an older version of the foreign card, from Base Set.

It does NOT have a text change.

Do I use the most RECENT English printing as a translation, or the Base Set Switch card as a translation?

You can use a new print of the card as a translation for an old Japanese card.
In fact, if the old card has had text change, like the English PlusPower, you have to use a new one as the old one has wrong text.
