Read Double Rainbow Energy again.
It makes no reference to Basic Energy. It says DRE "provides every type of Energy". No errata needed because of this.

Actually, DRE (and Rainbow) does reference Basic Energy. It contains the text:
"Doesn't count as a Basic Energy card when not in play"
Now this doesn't necessarily mean that it does count as a Basic Energy card when in play, but it seems to mean that, and it therefore could cause some confusion. Could someone explain this text. It seems like a pointless statement unless it is differentiating between not counting as a Basic Energy card when not in play and counting as a Basic Energy card when in play. I still wonder about the point of that statement given that the rulings say it doesn't count as a Basic Energy card, ever. Is it just poorly worded or am I missing something?
