Okay, so this time I didn't get stopped. 
I made the trek up to Canada with Amelia, Kenny and David "Jewish" Cohen and Amelia's mom. Upon arriving, we went to the mall for some shopping and had come to the realization that I didn't really like any of the Canadian clothing stores and that it was a waste of time. I've got a cool uncle though! Can't have everything. That night we are joined by Grant, Polo, Conor, Alan and Charlie of Washington and we go bananas, until people decide to leave. I randomly decide to use CeleTwo, as I had been meaning to use the deck. I had access to another Mewtwo so I figured there was no reason not to run the deck, it's BDIF and there is no solid counter to the deck.
Wake up the next morning and Amelia, Kenny, Ian ride there earlier because we were forced to take two trips. Then me, David and Wyatt take the second trip and arrive. Upon arriving people are like "Sup Justin Bieber?" Not gonna lie...I had that Purple Hoodie with White Skinny Jeans swagger that the little teen idol usually has. I meet up with Jaron and he gives me some last minute ideas for the list, I put in Virizion and I am happy about that change, it's really good. We need basically wait around until the tournament starts while David takes forever to come up with his list.
We are seated and ready to begin.
Round 1 vs Canadian using ReshiPhlosion:
I was sad to start Celebi and Virizion against a Reshiram. I was like crap...well then, I end up setting up a T1 Virizion and walloping for 40. He then Collectors into another one and 2 Cyndaquil which was fine, he had no other plays besides that and he attached an energy to the Reshiram I believe. Next turn I am able to pluspower KO the Reshiram and that's that. He then brings up the next Reshiram, I believe I go aggro Mewtwo here because I run 3 and if I can at least net 2 prizes per Mewtwo I'm fine. I also started to realize that this guy probably didn't run Mewtwos. I think by the end of the game I have a Mewtwo with a gazillion energy on it and I catcher and one shot his Reshiram EX to win the game.

Round 2 vs Charlie Qiao using Zek/Eels:
I get a really good start against this guy, I believe I immediately set up Regigigas and the fricken tank takes me like 3-4 of my prizes, near the end I finally bring out Mewtwo and this game was just pretty one-sided.

Round 3 vs Ricky Gao using Zek/Eels:
I felt confident about this match but he goes first and I get a sub-par start. I think somewhere down the line I finally get a Virizon up and wallop a couple Tynamos and then I transition into Gigas again? It then becomes a full on Mewtwo war and then we reach a point where I just have to hit an energy and I win the game. I Juniper....get 0 energy, are you kidding me? He lucks out a win here.

Round 4 vs Canadian using CMT:
This was a mirror match and I end up taking early game control really fast, however he plays a key N that cripples me and makes some smart Mewtwo plays to make this game anyone's. At the very end I figured I had lost, I didn't have the energy to KO his Mewtwo. However, I promoted my Mewtwo, and he could only do 160 to it. I N him down to 1, I get a PONT off it. Next turn he isn't able to KO my Mewtwo, I PONT into DCE and win the game. This game was insanely close.

Round 5 vs Ian Griffith using Zek/Eels:
I recall going first here and getting a solid start, take a few prizes here and there. He then PokeGears into a Twins and I'm like "uhh...what?" He plays two Twins throughout the game and it starts to get close, Mewtwos flying everywhere, most games seem to end with Mewtwo wars. We reach a point where if he can revenge my Mewtwo he wins, but N him out of the Mewtwo he Collectored for and he doesn't have enough energy to charge up the Mewtwo because I had killed his Eelektrik the previous turn. I then win the game by attaching DCE and just taking the 1 prize I needed to win. Really close once again, thanks N.

Round 6 vs Oregonian Player using ZPST:
This game...wow, he opens double Zekrom and I then realize that this won't be easy. I eventually figure out that he doesn't run Mewtwo, so I take that route. For whatever reason hes' able to consistently get energy on the board and two shot my Mewtwos so I was in trouble. Near the end I got him to a point where his bench was full so he couldn't Self Gen-Shaymin energy to set up a Zekrom to win, and he only had 1 energy on the Zekrom, I am somehow able to just set up Mewtwo and win the following turn, but man I thought I lsot that game and it would have cost me top cut. Also I could have gotten a key Shaymin earlier to possibly win the game but I get double tails on Dual Ball, I got really mad there and was a poor sportsman, I had to apologize for that.

Alright, so I make Top 16 at 7th Seed which isn't bad, and I'm up against Lane Tower. Now, he mentions that he doesn't care about trying to qualify and that he would be messing around/letting me win because I'm a WA player and I deserve it. That gave me some confidence going in.\
HOWEVER, I forgot to write Eviolite on my decklist, so I had to replace it with 2 Grass energy. It's funny because I actually wanted this change, I was missing energy left and right all day and Eviolite wasn't that important. Perhaps the best deck mess up in history!
Top 16 vs Lane Tower using CMT
Game 1:
This game is insane, I think he mentioned that he forgot to shuffle thoroughly because I kid you not he plays ALL 4 of his Dual Balls this turn and just drops down 2 Celebi, 3 Mewtwo EX and a Regigigas EX...I was like....well darn. He somehow nets the first Mewtwo on Mewtwo kill here (forgot what I did for that to happen) and I was like...welp, you probably win now. However, he whiffs on energy for the rest of the game I just go ahead and KO all his Mewtwos with mine to win it.

Game 2:
This game is really one-sided, he gets nothing going for him. I must have killed 2 Celebis and 2 Tornaduses with my Tornadues because he had no energy. Just to mess around to take my last 2 prizes, instead of KOing his active Mewtwo for the win, I get 5 energy on mine and just Catcher kill a Mewtwo on the bench because I could, he also wanted me to do it for the lulz factor. Great player, great person, I enjoyed playing him. Great that I actually won fair and square too.

Top 8 vs Erik Dungeon Jr using Mewtwo/Pachi/Shaymin
Game 1:
He starts Pachirisu and I figure...ZPST? No, he quite frankly runs 4 Mewtwo then like 3 of each Pachi/Shay. THis was scary, but I knew Regigigas would be key here. But for whatever reason it wasn't effective as I thought he manages to two shot it really fast. I miscalculate by attaching a DCE to a Mewtwo to KO his Mewtwo with two energy using my three energy but I had pluspower, so I could have kept 2 and he would not have been able to revenge KO my Mewtwo the following turn, because of this he wins the game rather easily, I was upset about the misplay.

Games 2 and 3:
These are how the matches should have gone. I slaughter him, I'll admit the third game was closer and I luckily hit the energy I need but Gigas does his job and takes 2-3 prizes and then I win out on the Mewtwo war because I took prizes first and he runs out of Pachi/Shay steam in the end. His deck was actually uber consistent with the high Cilan and SSU counts. I was surprised.

Top 4 vs Mel Anthony Miranda using Durant
Game 1:
I start Tornadus...he starts Durant. I Dual Ball, get Celebi and Tornadus off the Dual Ball, use Switch, promote Celebi. Attach DCE and then forest breath a Grass. I then PONT, and get a Skyarrow, retreat, Hurricane for the donk. My first donk of the day and it was against Durant. Made me SO HAPPY, you don't even know.

Game 2:
I start a little slow here but I also am forced to start Mewtwo so I was worried. THe reason why I was worried is because he runs a Mewtwo of his own to counter the whole "set up 1 Mewtwo EX and sweep Durant tactic" Except it actually works, I eventually set up a Mewtwo and take two prizes, he then Twins for his Mewtwo and plays it down. He figures that because I'm down to 2 cards I won't have the Catcher, so he just drops it down. Wrong. I Junk Arm for Catcher and KO his Mewtwo bringing it down to 2 prizes. The next turn I just net a Durant kill and it's down to 1. BUT, he Twins for Mewtwo...drops Mewtwo, Eviolite, DCE and KOs my Mewtwo. I'm now dead on board with like 8 cards left...damn. However, I have Celebi active, Tornadus on the bench, DCE and Grass in hand and all I need is a Catcher to take out a benched Durant. I look at my discard and there is 1 Junk Arm I haven't used...it could be prized. I use PONT, draw my entire deck and THERE IT IS, Junk Arm, Catcher, Hurricane for the win! So intense. I got lucky in both of my games against this guy, or honestly I would have been screwed.

This is it....I somehow made Top 2, I never thought I could get this far but I honestly wasn't going to look back. Ricky and me had a little bit of fun joking around. Everyone was watching, both Canadian and Washington players, this was it!
Top 2 vs Ricky Gao using Zek/Eels (revenge)
Game 1:
He starts this one off and I start Shaymin....FML, I slowly set up a Virizion and it takes 3 turns until he finally knocks out the Shaymin and I promote Virizion. All of these juicy Tynamos are there for the taking. I end up taking 2 Tynamos before he KOs the Virizion with Zekrom I believe. I go balls to the wall and start the Mewtwo war here, I think I somehow get 5 energy onto a Mewtwo and then Catcher kill his Eelektrik, I then use a pretty well timed N and because of that he isn't able to get the revenge KO on my Mewtwo and he barely loses. That risk was somehow worth it.

Game 2:
He gets an awful start. lol I get a pretty good one as I start Mewtwo. He Junipers away 3 DCE 3 Lightning and then plays a bunch of Tynamo. He still somehow has nothing. I then KO two Tynamos with Mewtwo and then out of nowhere he's quickly like MEWTWO, DCE, EVIOLITE, KO YOUR MEWTWO WITH X-BALL. That was pretty unexpected but I wasn't concerned because I had the cards to revenge it. I'll play another Mewtwo, DCE, X-Ball KO. He then plays another Mewtwo and KOs that. I was worried here but BUT I RUN 3 MEWTWO. Dual Ball, for Mewtwo, attach an energy VIA Forest Breath, Pluspower, Juniper...I hit the energy and WIN IT. Had I ran Eviolte still, I probably wouldn't have won the game, so thank you for that!

I become BC Canadian Provincial Champ, he seems bummed but I was a good sport and told him great games and etc. He still gets the travel award because US players can't win that in Canada. Oh well. All of the Washington players come in for a group hug, and for the first time in awhile, I felt loved. They fill out the INFO, I get my trophy and a hat, and they take my picture.
We then go to Boston Pizza for a celebration dinner and I have a blast.
That night we cram me, Kenny, Polo, Grant, Charlie, Alan and Conor into our hotel room because they had no where else to crash. Polo is immediately sleeping when we get there and we mess around with him for a little bit. We end up just being crazy for awhile and snuggin' to the max until Tyler looks for his shoes, we keep making jokes about "freezing" and figured he would know to check the freezer...he still doesn't figure it out so we get his damn shoe and he's able to leave. I slept in a bed with Conor and Grant but for the WHOLE NIGHT I felt like I was going to fall off...so it was uncomfortable. It was even worse because If I had fallen off, I would have crushed Polo...so yeah.
That pretty much sums it up. I was the underdog, and rose to the occasion to take BC in the name of Washington. It was also good to finally feel like I was good at this game because I had been questioning myself up until this point. I never thought I could take 1st in anything higher than a Battle Roads. I mean Tyler robbed me out of every Cities Top Cut ever.
