Regional Championships 2008, Colorado Springs CO

chubby: Don't be modest. ;) We know you're gunna pwn. Anyways... you have brawl? I own with peach so watch out! Yea I guess top 2 is the way to go... but who knows.

Yea, can't wait to see the rogues coming!

~Peace

Did I hear rogue?? woooooooo hooooooo Thats right up Team Heats ally!! Its going to be a lot of fun this year!!! It will be like a reunion for many players and staff who haven't seen each other in a long time! :)

I know I haven't seen you and Joey in like two years I'm about a foot taller now.

Ok are you guys driving if so I could see if my mom could make you dinner at my house. It is a bit far from the hotel though but you would get to see the Broadmoor.

Jeez, with all this bragging about the metagame, CO better deliver. Now, as long as choosing a deck doesn't overwhelm my fragile sanity, I'll see everyone at the tournament to better my 2nd place finish from last year.

Hey Logan! Bring all your UT masters buddies - Dad too! We need to hit 64+ so we can run top 16.

Pick a deck now and playtest the heck out it. I expect the meta-game to be very diverse. GG or Magmortor might get you to the TopX, but there are so many counters and techs to the meta-game that 1st place is no guarantee.

I love how the metagame seems to be changing everywhere as we come into regionals! It feels like everyone is finally figuring out how to come up with fresh ideas to beat the "big boys" that have dominated this year. Hopefully we see the payoff.

I always thought that was how Regionals was supposed to be. Testing new ideas for Nationals and beating the old stuff from States / BR's / Cities.

Well a week left. Yea... no idea what to play though. But it's gunna be a blast! Can't wait to see what decks i'll be seeing!

How many people would we have to get in one age divison to go 7 rounds? Just curious because I wouldn't put it past us going 7 in the Masters! It might be a stretch but it would be cool to get enough Seniors to go t16 there as well.

agreed. 4 more days until utah takes home some trophys.

I'd guess over 64 (top 16) would mean 7 or more rounds... I dunno. And I'm crossing my fingers for T16 seniors. That'd be sick! I dunno... I think CO's gunna keep those trophies nice and safe in our hands, we'll have to see. ;)

Sorry but someone new is going to bring some trophys home this time. I cant say which state, but were going to be there.
And be ready for Shadow Force.

The answer is found in the Tourney OP Procedures:

Also, just to clarify, it takes only 46 to make Top 16, not 64.
