Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Regionals in Madison, WI 5/14/05

I hear they have some great fried catfish in memphis vince. that one is like an 11 hour drive for me, so i dunno. but i'll see all of the rest of you at madison on the 14th.
 
Yep.... Madison. An hour from Oconomowoc.... YES! For once there is a major tournies within an hour drive, right in my backyard. Brookfield players, PM me or E-mail me about meeting at my house right here. Its only 5 minutes off I-94, so it isn't out of the way at all. And yes, I'll be at league this coming Wednesday. Watch out for Premier Trainer Krenke.

(Hey. They should name one of those Battle Frontier Brains after me. I see it now.... Krenke the Brain. Heh!)
 
this sounds like a fun tournament. Unfortunatly for me my little sister just quit pokemon as of a few hours ago. She says theres not enough girls her age playing it. Well Ill be there and hopefully I can convince her to come.

Aww... that's sad. You should convince her that it doesn't matter what other people do. She should do what she likes. Also, that if she is the only girl her age who plays that she could make a name for herself.
 
Awww we've gotta talk some sense into her! She's a great player, we don't want to lose her. Remind her about Rachael and Athena and Alexis too. We need to have your family at Regionals... 3 age groups for ya!
 
Yeah, but those that do are some of the best.

Look around the midwest, especially at the younger divisions...

Jessica L-N, Heather T, Natasha C, Taylor M, Anna S., ...dare I say, Kathy S (hey, she beat me), Nancy L, Heather L, man, a WHOLE BUNCH, and those are just those that are winning!!! There are a lot of other young ladies I know who play for the fun of the game.

Don't dismiss them so easily!!

I'm not dismissing them, just pointing out the fact that the majority of players are male. Not the fact that we definitely need more girls to play.
 
She feels sorta left out at our local competition because the 2 local girls that are her age left because there father is too competitive. He thinks if they cant win, dont bother going.

I will be one of the Judges for this event. Jed asked me at states and I said I would. Im still trying to get info about this also and any date changes which im sure will happen. I will keep you posted if I receive some news.

Where u not saying something like that before states. And im pretty sure Team Cheese Head only had 1 person in the top 8. And he scrubbed out in the first round of the top cut.
You guys just keep talking a big game. and the only one of you that can back it up is pooka.
