10-=I guess around 10
11-14= 16
15+= 26(Around)

I'm not that sure because there was so many people. There were at least 50+ people. It was good though.

With Prereleases Attendance Threads, I think that we should be posting what our additional prize structure is (if any) so that we can find out who is doing what. Perhaps entry fees wouldn't hurt either.

Any takers?

My opinion, not a good idea. We will end up with players asking TO's and PTO's "why don't you offer this or that, like so and so". This will put alot of un needed pressure on TO's and PTO's.

Now I would like to see "Only TO's or PTO's posting on the attendance thread".

I think it's crucial that we find out the cause of the decrease in attendance (which has been nationwide). Knowing and seeing what others charge and give away as extra can help many for their future events.

Are the prizes adequate for the players for the entry fee? Was there a drop due to the lackluster cards in the set itself due to the spoiler being released? Were there scheduling conflicts with other big card related events/holidays?

The thing that disturbs me the most is that Mothers Day is this weekend and if attendance was bad this week, I can't imagine what numbers we'll be generating. :frown:

I think the reason for the dropoff Phil, is to to people feeling that this is a subpar set. Usually, we have a good idea of what's in the set and we didnt have that until a few days before.

Btw, so far Florida is up, not down. The Casselberry Deoxys prerelease had 55. Emerald had 60+.

Houston, Texas Prerelease had an increase of 20 players from Deoxys. I'm looking for more good numbers this weekend at The Woodlands, Texas Prerelease. Wish us well.

Phil, I agree that the comparison you are looking for is needed, but needs to happen on a PTO / TO board, for the discussion to be frank and honest, and not open to the Pokegym Public.

I hope that PUI will "require" all PTOs at these events to follow the same structure, would be easier on all of us PTOs who do this, not x charges $5 less, but Y gives a box to the top person...These events should be the same.

Good news is, we should have little to worry about.

Guys, please remember: UNLESS you are a TO or judge for the event and have actual knowledge of the correct numbers, PLEASE don't post.

It's very confusing for different numbers to be posted and then corrected for events; leave the reporting to those who ACTUALLY KNOW, please!
