Hey, all! So I'm trying to work out a ReshiPhlosion deck and this is what I came up with so far. I don't have many cards to work with, so this is the best I can possibly make it (I think), with the cards that I have. Obviously I need more Typhlosion Primes, Junk Arms, and Rare Candies. Any help is welcomed and appreciated! Thanks! :D

Deck List (60 Cards):

Pokemon (20):
4 Reshiram (BW)
3-3-2 Typhlosion Prime x1, Typhlosion x1 (HS/CL)
2-2 Ninetails (UL/CL)
1 Zekrom (BW)
2 Tyrogue (HS)
1 Cleffa (CL)

T/S/S (23):
2 Switch (BW)
2 PlusPower (BW)
2 Pokemon Catcher (EP)
2 Great Ball (EP)
4 Pokemon Communication (BW)
1 Junk Arm [TM]
3 Professor Oak's New Theory (HS)
2 Professor Elm's Training Method (HS)
1 Twins [TM]
1 Fisherman (HS)
1 Pokemon Collector (HS)
1 Interviewer's Questions (UL)
1 Sage's Training (UD)

Energy (17):
2 Double Colorless Energy (HS)
1 Rescue Energy [TM]
14 Fire Energy

Strategy:
Basically the same as every other ReshiPhlosion deck. Reshiram is the main attacker, and Typhlosion Prime/Typhlosion is the secondary attacker. Typhlosion Prime is also the energy recovery power. Ninetails is the draw power, and third attacker. Tyrogue and Cleffa are the starters, and are great for stalling until you can set up. Zekrom is not only in as an attacker, but as at least some kind of counter to Water-type decks.

Changes:
- 1 Vulpix (HS)
+ 1 PlusPower (BW)
- 1 Fire Energy
+ 1 Rescue Energy

You don't need a lot of the things in this deck. Zekrom is an interesting idea but the only way he is going to do any major damage is if your opponent is stupid enough to not OHKO him or catcher around it. 3-2 Ninetales is unneeded, stick to 1-1 or 2-2. 3 or 4 Typhlosion prime is a must. Tyrogue isn't needed in my opinion but if you want it, just stick to 1. Try something like this:

4 Reshiram
4-2-4 or 4-3-4 Typhlosion Prime
1-1 or 2-2 Ninetales
1 Tyrogue
1 Cleffa

Trainers
3 PlusPower (very important for mirror and ZPST)
2 Pokemon Catcher
4 Pokemon Communication
3 or 4 Junk Arm (very useful card)
3 Professor Oak's New Theory
1 Twins
3 or 4 Rare Candy
4 Pokemon Collector (maxing this is a must)
3 Sage's Training (practically made for this deck. All energy and trainers discarded can be retrieved easily through Typhlosion and Junk Arm)
2 Revive

Energy
1 DCE
11 Fire

It is not so much a list as it is a guide (it probably more than 60 cards so it's up to you to pick and choose the numbers.)

Thanks for the list. It really helps out a lot. I kinda had to build this deck around the fact that I don't have any Rare Candies, only one Collector, only one Junk Arm, and only one Typhlosion Prime. I do have two more Sage's Training that I could add in, as well as another PlusPower.

I actually have a question regarding Junk Arm. Can it bring back ANY Trainer card like you made it seem in your post, or only Item cards? At my last BRs, my opponent said I can only take Item cards. I didn't think to question it, since it was my first competative tournament ever, and I'm a noob.. lol

Yeah only trainer-items. Sorry I'm used to the old wording.

I suggest (if you intend to play the game often) you invest in some playsets of the basic staples and order them as singles. Buying packs is fun and a good way to build your collection but not an effective way of getting specific cards, especially with this deck. I don't think there is a single card over $8 in Reshiphlosion so it's a very affordable deck.

Cool. If you have any other questions pm me or post them here. Best of luck.

Well I could definitely use your opinion on this.... What do you think I should I take out for 2 Sage's Training and 1 PlusPower? That's all I got. The rest I gotta trade for or buy.

A Tyrogue a Vulpix and a Zekrom? If you want to keep Zekrom you could take out 2 Vulpix and 1 Ninetales. 1-1 Ninetales is the best way to go if you have 8+ draw supporters (which most decks should have) so you don't rely heavily on it. That's what I run and I love it.

Try and get typhlosion Prime and candies. Then you can make a 4-2-3 line. or 3-2-3.

But before that take away a Tyrogue and a Vulpix for 2 Collectors, they swap in terms of consistency.

If you're worried about Collector clogging up late game, you can up the Sage's or Junk Arm.

It's a good build considering you don't have all the cards though.

Thanks, guys. Since I have a ton of draw power, I'm gonna wait on the Sages until I get more ways to bring back discarded energies (more Typhlosion Primes). For now, I took out a HS Vulpix for a PlusPower.

Now, I'm debating on a 1-1 Zoroark line.... Hmmm... Thoughts?

I have a BRs and a League tomorrow, so help is very welcomed tonight! :D

Zoroark is a great card but do you have something specific you're putting it in to combat or is it just for the sake of having it?

It could work but you probably don't need it assuming you're running revive. If it's just for the sake of having it go with more drawpower and consistency cards.

I went 3-3 today at my Battle Roads. I came in 20th place out of about 50ish people. Not bad at all. Other players, as well as myself, thought my deck was extremely consistent, especially since I only had the 1 Typhlosion Prime. Having that 1 Zekrom actually helped a lot today and it actually got me the win against a Samurott deck. :D

I also got some good pulls from packs. Pulled a Rescue Energy, which I put in for a Fire Energy, and a Black Belt. I'm debating on putting the Black Belt in... Help? :)

I like your list! My only suggestion: I think you could do without Zekrom. Most water decks are really just kingdra, which is nearly useless against ReshiPhlosion. Against BlastGatr, they will KO your Zekrom and then you're back where you started. If you insisted on Zekrom, I might try a Zoroark tech at 1-1 for BlastGatr. When eviolite comes out, you should add it, too.

Thanks! You'd be surprised how helpful the one Zekrom actually is. It won me a game at my BRs, yesterday. I'm definitely gonna stick with it. I was thinking about the 1-1 Zoroark, but decided not to, in the end. I plan on adding Eviolite and eventually Fliptini and Reshiram EX. Maybe even a Kyurem, for a similar reason to the Zekrom. I'll see. Thanks for the advice though. :)

max out your rare candies, junk arms, add a boufalant as an RDL counter in case you ever come across reshiboar. energy retrieval is a good card to have in the deck as well
