Resolve Problems

Hello, well at my local league where gonna have the BR in the next week or two, and their is lots of problems with the rules, cause the so called judge, says that you can play DP trainers the first turn, but really cant play any trainers the first turn, right? Then BUDEW DP can search DP supporters, like P. Rowan, it can only search trainers, right? the other problem that I had a problem to explain is that you cant doo: Elekid - Rare Candy - Electivire, so how can I explain my judge this rules? is their something I can print and take the day of the BR?

1. The DP rulebook states you can't play any Trainers, Supporters, and Stadiums on the starting player's first turn.
2. Budew says Trainer cards. It ALWAYS means just regular Trainer cards - no Supporters or Stadiums.
3. Elekid does not have a normal evolution to Electabuzz, so Rare Candy can't be used for it.

One of the key issues in handling someone who doesn't agree with you, is respect. If you tell someone they're wrong, and you're right, there's often not a lot of useful discussion that goes on past that. I can't imagine that its fun for either of you to have that kind of dissension. Instead, talk it over with the judge, and ask him or her how you could persuade them. It might take multiple discussions to work towards a positive result, but it's worth it in the long run.
