Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Rhyperior & Mewtwo Tin Boxes

A bit off topic, but then again, so is half of this thread.
AMU isn't good. It takes at the very least three turns to set up the 3 lvXs (If you're incredibly lucky), and everything in it is OHKO'd by almost every big deck.

The point of AMU isn't to use God Blast all the time
AMU's point isn't just to use God Blast all the time
God Blast isn't the whole point of AMU

When will people understand this?

Of course it's a good deck. Maybe the lack of Dual Ball made the deck weaker outside Japan, but I can't see how the lack of Dual Ball alone can make an awesome and broken deck reduced to a deck that "isn't good". We lacked the Holon Engine and Life Herb for Blissey when it was released outside Japan, but it sure became a broken deck nonetheless.

I love the tins because they help make the cards accessible to players, my condolence to collectors trying to make a buck off of someone else's product but the focus of PUI is the gamers not the collectors or re-sellers.

PUI, keep releasing the tins with Lv X's and I will keep buying them.

I disagree. Collectors are part of the mix of a successful TCG. When players feel that they can't get any value out of a TCG, they can sour on it. And collectors drive a large part of the sales.
Moreso that players, i would think.

Just look at the nosedive after Fossil Mew was left out of that set and made into a cheap non-holo promo.

OK, OK, that was only part of the problems around that time, but it was a contributing factor.

A German card shop has announced tin boxes featuring Rhyperior Lv.X and Mewtwo Lv.X. They'll be in stores at Sepember 15th, in case these are translated German versions, the English boxes should be released in the US a few days/weeks earlier.

The artwork seems to be the same as on the Japanese cards. So maybe they could be exclusive promos instead of only reprints (like in any Lv.X tin box before), which would mean DP - Legends Awakened does only have to feature 6 Lv.X cards.

what's the card shop's name? or there is any url?

Its so exciting that the tin promo of Legends Awakened is Rhyperior and Mewtwo!
I'm thinking of what deck I'm going to play with on the National Champhionship in Norway 2009. I actually got 2 ideas, but if AMU gets popular, I think I play Mewtwo. An other deck with Rhyperior also interests me. It is really hard to get some Pokémon LV.X from friends without giving all your money to them. So that Rhypeior is one of the Legends Awakened tin promos is just lovley.
But maybe an Mewtwo tin promo destroyes the popularity of AMU? An fast AMU beats Mewtwo, but an fast Mewtwo totally beats AMU. If someone techs in an Psychic evolved Pokémon just to tech Mewtwo, AMU can also beat Mewtwo.

im happy mewtwo comes out as a tin promo
so now a tin promo can laugh at the world's most expensive deck next format

LOL

but wht i dont get is...
how did the german shop person recieve the tins sooo early????
worlds is like 2 months away, and LA will be released then
could itbe, that rhyperior and mewtwo will come oyt sooner? and be playabke for worlds???
just to kill G&G decks???

True, how can they be know about already when they are by far from being released in Europe and America?

I don't think it's fake, the boxes look to good to be fakes.

Oooh......early Mewtwo Lv.X.Rhypheior Lv.X would be HOT! If only that were to happen.......GG would have to have a major teching.

I'm not surprised that they didn't make Gliscor LV.X into a tin. Since they released two Gliscors in DP5 (One in the set, one in the japanese starter deck), and that our Mewtwo came in the last set (and one non-holo in the other japanese starter deck, which will probably arrive in this set), I was thinking either thinking Rypherior or Magnezone would be release in a tin, instead of Gliscor.
