Rising Rivals Luxray GL Lv X, Mismagius GL, & Lucario GL

These had been released on another website other than the official Pokemon site.

Since they are now officially released, time to discuss them here!!!!
 
much better variety of SP's besides toxitank & dialga/legos. luxray will be a definite deck choice. lovin em!
 
I don't really like these cards. They just don't seem very good to me... I mean really once when you play this card to level up you can switch the defending pokemon with one of the opponent's benched pokemon, Whoopdee doo. you get to switch it once, not that big of a deal. It doesnt sound as good as the built in warp point this you can use with the new Infernape x, called driving howl
 
Luxray can draw up that annoying Pokemon from their bench for the setup. With the free retreat cost, Luxray moves out of the way and allows your heavy hitter finish them off. Without seeing the non-LvX, I'll give it 7/10.

Mismagius is going to take some more thought. At this time 4/10.

Lucario levels the x2 playing field SP decks 'suffer' from. Can be used in non-SP decks as well. Combo throw may be a tad weak in this lower energy environment. 7.5/10.
 
Luxray can do this over, and over, and over, and over. Poketurn/SSU, Bronzong G.
 
So far I've noticed a pattern..... It seems that all the cards that have been released (spoilers) all have 2x weakness is this going to be the trend in the future? going back to 2x weakness ????

No, it is just that all the SP pokemon so far have a x2 weakness to give them a "disadvantage" when compared to normal pokemon.
 
Lucario would be a good tech with Sunnyshore Gym and Electric-types. I can't think of anything else that drops Weakness... :/ Either way, could be an "ace in the hole" for some decks.
 
Lucario will be a fun card to tech with Ninetails(MT) before it rotates. Being able to hit anything for 120 for 2 is nothing to scoff at.

And Luxray x looks like a good tech inAbomasnow/Manetric to drag out their claydols and have any damage done negated by Manetric's Body.

lucario gives SP decks a fast and easy (LOL) way to beat up T-Tar. once they hit 4 energy you can bench it, energy gain+SP energy and a bronzong G switch for a KO. really a great tech 8/10. the other ones are kinda meh. luxray would be great if flygon wasn't here, it's pretty good otherwise though.
 
I hate the lvl X Luxray artwork. I hope the rest of the set wont look like an 8 year old did it. Plus luxrays poke power is pretty sad. Too bad so sad.
 
I can see use fopr Luxray Lv.X personally I think it would make my Apharos deck useful again and possibly hurt the dialga Palkia decks now. I do like the card art work not so much i just like how it willbe a tech card i know it.

The ability to pull an oponents pokemon is too useful and his attack can potentially KO not jsut one but two pokemon if played smartly. I am jsut saying dont bash it quite yet there will always be potential if the time is right.
