Yes at this point it's probably a good idea to check with me first. I did have a few cancel, but still, by the look of the Preregistered list, looks like quite a few will be there.

Really hate to have to see you go there instead of to ours, but I surely understand. We'll miss ya!

Just A little question, Why the small venue for such a popular pre release... Its boggling my mind

Well, waaaay back when I sanctioned this tourney in March, Niles and I had to be scheduled on the same day due to staff conflicts at TIY with the other dates. And last time Niles and I were on the same day we only had 35 players. And for this Pre a lot of people said they weren't going to be coming because of the price increase. And the larger venue I normally use costs me $200 out of pocket... so... it didn't appear that it would be cost effective or necessary for me to book it, so I didn't. That's why... a lot of factors.

I've actually been quite surprised at all the early interest. But we'll be fine in TIY. Some who signed up before have recently cancelled due to the high gas prices. So we'll have room. We've got extra tables set up in the store and the gameroom. And I'll have cookies for everyone too, so it's all good.

I think we broke the store yesterday. How many were there, Camille? About 60-ish? Pretty durn good, IMO...

That is correct! We had 52 players total, not bad at all considering it was at the store! I know several went to Niles because they didn't think we'd have room, but I think we had it set up rather well in the store to be able to handle 60. Bullados handled the 11 Theme Deck Challengers in the downstairs gameroom and it looked like they all had a lot of fun down there! We had the gameroom full and a couple tables in the store for the overflow, and all in all it went really well! Everyone had a good time, we gave out lots of extra packs and stuff, had a ton of cookies... I think everyone enjoyed themselves.
