Hello fellow 'gymers, welcome to the 3rd and final round of swiss.

A lot of you have done VERY well in the previous rounds, but this is the true test. The challenge for this round will seem easy, but you will be facing adversity like no other. There will be a format and a restriction of some cards. It was REALLY hard to decide the "basic" Pokemon care for this round. There are some creative cards, but I feel they just arent very fun cards. This competiton is meant to be fun imo, so without further waiting, your challenge.

THE FORMAT!!!
This round has a format...There is a reason why I picked what I picked for the 1st 2 challenges. I needed a format for the 3rd round. Yeah the Challenges seemed pointless, but it was calculated. Rogue is a format as is Top Tier cards.

With that said, the decks in your meta are as followed. (decklists will be provided at the bottom of this page for your conveniance)
Victreebel/Weavile
Magnezone/Slugma/Slowking
Sharpedo/Mew/Vileplume
Wailord/Porygon Z/Reuniclus

I know what you are thinking, thats a lot of contrast to the format. This will seperate the good from the bad. Your goal is simple, make your lists CAPABLE of beating the format. The challenge cards themself are good cards yet hard to be very creative(in theory.) When you submit your entry, please provide a strategy of how to beat each deck in a simple form. Plus each Challenge will have a Ban list. With that, lets gets this started.

Wow, interesting. I can do without Catcher or Typhohlosion for sure... What to do with Reshi that is creative? That's another story...

HS-on, Correct?

Need Seventeen

Soooo

I'm done with my deck, analysis, and match-up explination. And it;s 10541 characters >_> So should i send 3 pms or do you have a better idea of what i should do, i can't cut anything, its all explination.

Wait can somebody clarify: are we building a deck built specifically to counter the decks listed, or are we trying to create a unique deck with a lot of synergy that also has good matchups against the decks listed?

^Is there really a difference? You have a card you have to include in the deck, and cards you can't. You have a metagame. make it original, consistant, and make sure it can take ont he metagame. That's how real deck building works anyway, just with a much smaller meta.

And deck has been submitted. Hopefully i do better this round than previously.

I think I've got my Celebi idea. Again, exnay on the ativecay, but it eats Evolutions alive. Just figuring out how to make it fast, consistent, and capable of taking out Zekrom and Absol...

Celebi Prime is one of my favorite cards right now, it is very rogue, creative, and consistant/fast. It can wreck some of the format for sure guys.

I've seen some articles already and I believe they are fantastic, keep up the fantastic work you guys, gals.

The metagame decks do NOT have a ban on ANY card. What you see in their list is what you are facing.

Yes, this is the last round.. The top 8 from each bracket move into the Top 32.

Highest everage top 8 scored Pod will face the lowest averaged top 8 pod.
I figured this was the best option, but I am excersing the option the top score in a pod will vs the lowest high scorer pod...

People helped me to get 4 Celebi prime on PTCGO and now I am testing some ideas.
Have a lot of fun doing this.

(Yes I know the metagame for the contest is different)
