Unforseen events will keep me from Nats this year so here is my vote for best deck

Rhyperior

I have used a couple of versions here is the basic list

Rhyperior x4
Rhydon x4
Rhyhorn x4

Nidoqueen x2
Nidorian x1
Nidarina X2

Driftblim x1
Drifloon x1

Mistrivous x3 (flip two to wake up)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3 scrabble
3 heal
3 double rainbow

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4 fieldworker
4 Mr. Brineys
1 Farmer
2 Speed Stadium
4 Celios
1 Super Scoup Up
4 Rare Candy
4 switch

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NO i didn't count the cards above, they are the most important

Figure this:
your deck starts with 60 cards.
You draw 7 to start the game
6 cards are your prizes

After drawing for turn one you have 46 cards left (60-7-6-1)

Each time I drop Ryhperior you lose 3 more. Four ryperior = 12 more cards gone

34 cards left

four Brineys, Four Rhyperior = 12 more cards gone

22 cards left to play with.

When I play feild worker will you draw a card?
When I Play speed stadium do you dare?
Will I throw away any cards you needed?

Read Drifblims first attack
I am resistant to lightning and have 140HP (sorry Metanight , electranight, d ray)
Will you even be able to wake up?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Farmer will not save you

POP2 Pidgey is also very good instead of Drifblim

Thanks for reading ( and oh yeah Jinxfett can beat anything #1 GA, #40 NA)

Great deck Craig

I have to tip my hat to you it is very formitable deck.
I would go straight deck out with pidgeot.
True it has to be active 4x switch and 4x briney
Hint for you against flariados tech in Holon GL and Grass to get rid of all special conditions on queen.
As you know the game is kill the Queen.
Windstrom for Cessy Crystal.
3x speed stadium for cursed stone.

Craig like I said good deck.

How does it work ag'st Infercatty? If you are tossing the fires into the discard for them, then letting the Ape X flush the 8 fires back into deck, to make it energy rich, or catty EX streaming the energies and DREs back into deck for the Ape.

Since I see Ape being a big deck at Nats, just interested in your take/actual experience agast the deck.

Thx Keith

PS Sorry to hear the Ableys wont be in Ohio next week.

infernape isnt a problem because its not a good deck nor is it played around him
true, it would help the infernape with dumping the fires and it would be a hard matchup but drifblim and farmers help the dead rhyperiors and if he gets down prizes, scrable or double rainbow twice to kill the lone lv x infernape so it is essentially useless

vic: why would he put in cess crystal when his deck is one huge power? you may be incompetant
craig dont listen to vic, he knows you tried with pidgeot and it was inferior (get it: rhyperior-inferior haha) not

Windstrom for Cessy Crystal.

windstorm gets rid of cessy crystal is what I ment by Windstrom for Cessy Crystal. Nick
Farmer gets 3 basic energy and three pokemon
Drifloom gets 5 pokemon or supporters ie briney's compassion

Three cards at a time is really slow. Why wont farmer save you unless you discard the farmer and all four transever wont they be able to shuffle the cards back in. And 22 cards left until decking wont that be enough turns left to win. What happens if they play copy cats or what if one of your Driftblim or Drifloon is prized. You also have no way to search out the Brineys.

True is no way to get Mr Brinery. you have to rely on pure draw power like speed stadium Fieldworker. What about three energy for misdreavus. Beginning starting odds mircoscopic

This deck its very effective with delcatty to have draw power ... also add 4 scoop up and the pricipal tech in this deck is the tecnical machine than paralize... one energy and u can paralize... this deck only losses to infercatty and banette (in my espierience).... its a very fun deck to play....

Couple of things:

(1) Wouldn't Mew EX or Mew* be able to copy Drifblim or Drifloon to help the opponent get back some of those cards you discarded?

(2) How about Jirachi EX? Once you get out a Rhyperior or Nidoqueen, wouldn't Jirachi EX stop your powers for your next turn?

(3) I know you must have concerns about Cursed Stone and Cessation Crystal also.

(4) Empoleon/ Seaking. Any worries?

My Retort

Thanks for all your input

Inferape Can not one hit Rhyperior. Inferape x Can but it is not the hardest pokemon to take out. (and you only get one per deck)
Mistrevoius can be very disruptive, if they can't attck they can't knock you out. When they do that when the scrable - briney - scramble. becomes very effective. Another iomportant attack combo is Rhydon then rhyperior.

No GL's or WP's full heals are better.

Yes I do play windstorm.

Driftblim is not a farmer it gets the MR. Brineys Back.

About Farmers - Coping Driftblim - Deck Restoration.
- please try - ha ha ha -

When you stop playing your deck and focus on trying to not deck you have already lost.

Rhyperior, Nidoqueen, and Driftbloom all have very good attacks, and if your focus is using your supporters to put cards back that I will throw away again sorry you lose. Even better use your attcks for the same thing.

Yes it starts very slow but thats why scrambles are so great:)

Inferape Can not one hit Rhyperior. Inferape x Can but it is not the hardest pokemon to take out. (and you only get one per deck)
Knocking out rhyperior doesnt matter. All that matters is that Infernape lvl x and Delcatty ex will keep shuffling back the fire energy your rhyperiors are discarding. I don't think rhyperior stands a ghost of a chance against infernape.

lv x infernape will be out for 2 turns max which means he wont keep cycling cards back into the deck except for maybe one time but after all the drawing the deck has already done, its too late
its different when you play against it
trust me

And then you farmer back the Ape X, search for it again and AWAY you go! I'd say the Ape out quicks this deck and the constant discarding of cards, unless they get lucky and throw away the X, or all the Chimps, the Ape will likey this match up.

Keith

how the **** are you putting stuff to sleep with Mistrivous? it has no sleep attack and neither do any of your pokemon

on that note, you have no baisic nrg to attach for basic pokemon (DRE and scramble cant be attached to basics...)

Misdreavus is a basic. He has 3 attachable energy for Misdrevious listed (heal energy). Misdeavus needs to stay active to make the oppo flip 2 heads to wake up. Evolving will wake you up though and then you slap the misdreavus around. Switch, warp point, etc also gets around the dbl sleep.

Then, if Rhyp is active, unless it is powered up, it takes 4 retreat. Unless you are constantly Briney'ing it up, you will fall behind. Yes, I know the deck plays 3 scramble energy, but once those hit the discard, how do you get those back?

I think it is an interesting concept, but not the best deck out there.

Keith

This deck has been played a lot in BR in mexico... with delcatty. and its veeeery efective.. it beats metanite 10 of 9 times, the same fate to r-gon , delta , shftry ,destiny , etc etc , the only deck than can beat this deck its ape and banette because of the speed....empoleon can be a problem too if they use vaporeon.... dont worry about scramble thats why u use the tecnical machine to paralize and set up for one more turn... this deck does not win by taking prizes , it wins by decking the player...
