If im playing sablelock and im playing against a Vileplume variant what stategy should I use?

Are there any good techs i could put in?

Drifblim fb, blazekin fb, use luxray to bright look up vileplume, and then anything that can do 60 psychic damage. You can also tech in a dialga g with warp energy. You already have sableye which can deal with spiritombs just fine.

^ good vplume should play warp energy anyway

Driftblim fb and judge stuff work as decent counters, DGX just gets leveled down anyway.

good plume list are harsh...

And you can always use luring flame, plus they have to have that warp energy on them.

Personally, I like the idea of having Energy Exchanger teched into the deck so that after using Cyrus's Conspiracy, you can swap in your Basic Dark for Darkness or Double Colorless Energy.

If you set-up not terrible, and lets say you never had a chance to dragon rush (or honchkrow G snipe) oddish or gloom when they hit the field, you can always get a pretty reliable 2hko on vileplume with one Dragon Rush (for 80 dmg) and the cleaning up with Honchkrow G for your last 40-50. No need to radically change the deck imo and include stuff like DGX and or Blaze/Lux X (which arent terrible plays necessarily).

If you're meta is mostly vileplume+spiritiomb trainer decks though, consider having an insurance policy against those pokes with aforementioned "non-necessary" techs :psychic:

my meta and all the surounding is completely random so im trying to have a deck that can handle a wide spread of things what would be good for that?

thx
