Sableye donk-how to combat it

Plus, all they really need with a sableye start is a collector. They'll search out crobat and unown dark. It's very unlikely that you'll be able to start out with 2 of your 4 tombs when you need to.

Well, yes, but keep in mind, the odds of an opponent having both a Collector and the Sableye to start first are only slightly better than having double Tomb.

That said, Nance's criticism is legit, IMO. I keep forgetting about the mulligan rule, sadly.:nonono:

That was just one example. There are like a million hand combinations that can give you the t1 ko on tomb with sabledonk even without trainers. So I think that my "criticism" is also legit.

Btw, the deck would for sure run 4 collector with 4 sableye. That's 1 in 15 cards for each one individually. With a seven card hand plus the draw for turn, that's like a 50% chance of getting one. So it would be around a 1/4 chance of getting both, which is pretty high. Plus, collector can always seach out sableye.

i think what he meant is tomb is his only basic

meaning regice cant fix that problem

That is a good point. Sorry, I'm not 100% when it comes to remembering that Poke-Power. I havent used it too terribly much, I must say. but all it takes is 2 Bat drops and you've basically got yourself a win.
