My friend ran into a Salamence deck during regional's and he almost got owned when he was using GG. He said the most annoying part was when he couldn't 1 shot his Salamences with Gallade. Gardevoir lvX also can't bring him down real easy with 140 HP. He also doesn't have too bad attacks. So here's my list.

Pokemon:23
4 Salamence
2 Shelgon
4 Bagon
2 Eevee
2 Vaporeon
3 Smeargle
1 Delcatty ex
1 Skitty
2 Claydol
2 Baltoy

Trainers:24
4 Candy
3 POV
3 Roseanne's
2 NM
2 Drake's stadium
4 Celio's
2 Plus power
2 Warp point

Energy:15
7 Fire
7 Water
1 DRE

Strat: Smeargle start to get the different enrgy early. Salamence for the main attacker, Vaporeon for healing on the bench and stalling. Claydol for speed. Delcatty ex for late game energy retrieval.

My freind was playing Salamence, but he had a very hard time drawing, and setting up the Stage 2 pokemon, i enjoy its attack, and HP but it is very hard to get rolling, expecial if you want to do its second attack for 100.

I understand your list, and i actually have hopes for it to work, but you may need some more drawers like Felicties( Though delicatty takes care of that)

Your deck is well built. Nice work, and you may want to remove some of your pokemon for more energy for all the other pokemon you have running.

Nice Work!

claydol and smeargle do not mix. Also smeargle is not a good starter especially in a deck that needs a lot of set up to be good. How do you expect to get the sally powered up and whats vaporeon there for.

Vaporeon is there for healing my benched Salamences. It can also discard DREs and scrambles to really slow down the opponent. If I take out Smeargle, what do you suggest I put in?

you should never have more stage two more than stage 1:thumb:

I think phione is good in this deck because it is good for getting a quick stage two or a claydol. Then you could use your supporters on things like energy, or draw.

typo: I have rare candy so I can skip the stage one
Flygon999: How will memory berry help?
Bug Boy: I'll try out Phione. Smeargle is really helping at the moment, but maybe Phione is better

Memory berry helps because saly has a lot of HP so you can use rage for an quick 130 out of nowhere which can really help. Also you neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed energy eccel because it takes 4 turns for you to do big damage and by that point your oppoent will easily be set up. Also I don't get hwo smeargle helps because it doesn't help you get set up. In fact it counter acts you only supporting pokemon.

Well, smeargle gets all of the enrgy I need. Besides, I don't have to use color pick and could trace for something on their bench. Or I could try Phione. What do you think?
