So yeah, who's going? It's July 20th through the 23rd, with preview night on the 19th for those who pre-ordered tickets. At the San Diego convention center. (The other one. Not the one Worlds was at last year, but the one the STS was held at.)

I'm personally looking forward to...

-Snakes On A Plane panel discussion, and SAMUEL L JACKSON will be attending :D
-Clerks 2 screening. Yes, they will be showing THE ENTIRE MOVIE!
-Maddox (The Best Page In The Universe, no link because it isn't PG.) will have a booth and will be selling advance copies of his new Comic Book, "The Best Comic In The Universe."
-Adult Swim panel.
-Pokémon events (None currently announced, but there will be some.)
-Sooo much more.

This is shaping up to be the best Comic-Con yet. =)
 
Well, of course I'm going. Maybe I'll judge for a couple tournies or work in the booth. I dunno. This year I really want to take advantage of all that con has.
 
Christmas in July has come again. TEH UBER SCHEDULE shall soon be complete, for the best con yet.
 
you entering that contest again Matt??? we'll be raiding the NACHO's like last year :biggrin: anybody get rooms, need to crash til friday, since I'll be there most likely wednesday to help set up...if anything just a shower, is all I ask!!! hook a fellow poke player????

while I have no idea why the pokemon schedule isnt posted, I assure you that there will be multiple events each day. I will try my best to get those up and posted. but generally speaking, there will be a morning-noonish and an afternoon type event each day. (please note that morning for me is around 10 or 11am) I do know that there will be some draft and some team play.

plus, interspursed throughout the day, I may run some of the "stranger" things players like...

I believe that those that know me can vouch for my special extra events.

If you hold free drafts like last year, I'll have to pry myself from my schedule for at least one. =)

I'll be going only on Thursday. I am going to watch Lucario, Inuyasha, and go talk to the new VAs. For the rest of the time - who knows, but it looks like there will be a lot of stuff to do.
 
Schedule of Events now up!

Sorry guys and gals that it took so long to get the events posted. Nationals, a Magic Prerelease, SDCC planning, family, the moon in the sky, etc... all conspired to delay this.

Of particular note, and it's a BIG Note, just like last year, all events are FREE :clap: -- including sealed tournaments! All sealed pack events have limited seating, etc..., complete info is on the website.

We are in a bigger room this year, still on the Mez. level, Room 17A. Just look for the Pokemon OP banner :pokeball: .

So come one, come all...see you next weekend. :smile:
 
I'll enter the unlimited tournament Thursday and the Team Sealed Deck on Sunday. My Schedule is too busy this year, so I can't hold my title as winner of both modified events last year. Sorry. =(
 
Well... wont be able to make it. Out of all the weekends this month, this happens to be my non-free one. Plus, I'm saving up my reamining vacation time for Worlds and GenCon SoCal.

BTW: just found out. Charles Martinet (voice of Mario) will be at the Ninetndo Booth. If it weren't for that fact that I already got him to sign my copy of Mario Sunshine at E3 I would be really mad that I wasn't able to go. But I could always go for more signed swag. Oh well...

Make sure to bring something Mario Related for him to sign

(Charles' autograph... Check. Miyamoto's autograph... Check. Just need Iwata's to complete the "Triforce")

Eye yi yi, I just checked the times for the Unlimited and Sealed events and they are going on during the only two Pokemon events at Comic-con. Unlimited goes on during the "Meet the New VA" conference, and the Sealed goes on during the "Lucario and the Mystery of Mew" movie. XD
 
I'm gonna just own that unlimited tournament with a deck I've played probably 3 times at the most. :D
