Sawk was MVP of my prerelease deck. I've kinda seen B/W as a reprint of base set and so I wanted to get the ol "Haymaker" style band back together.

4 Sawk
4 Sudowoodo
4 Tyrogue
1 Solrock
1 Lunatone
1 Cleffa

15 Pokemon

4 Plus Power
4 Pokemon Reversal
4 Junk Arm
4 Professor Juniper
3 Dual Ball
3 PONT
3 Switch
2 Energy Retrieval
2 Black Belt
1 Twins
1 Ruins of Alph
1 Revive

32 T/S/S

13 Fighting Energy

The Strategy:
Come out of the gate swinging and pummel your opponents into submission.
Since I run only basics, I can usually play out my whole hand and then Juniper or PONT for great justice.

Everyone in this deck should be able to take prizes(sans Cleffa).
Sawk does 20 for:fighting: and 40 for :fighting::fighting: (Beat DOWN!)
Tyrogue does 30 for nothing and then falls asleep(SWEET SLEEPING FACE!)
Solrock is mostly here to prevent healing, but it also does 20 for :fighting: and puts a smokescreen effect on the defending pokemon.
Lunatone can blow itself up and do 60 for :fighting::colorless: and spread damage to both benches.
Finally:
Sudowoodo does 20x the number of fighting energy attached to it(PUSH OVER!)

Plus Power makes your attacks do more damage.
Pokemon Reversal lets you pick off weaker or key targets off your opponent's bench.
Junk Arm(the crux of this deck) lets you reuse either of these. In fact, if you have the cards to do so, you could Junk Arm a PlusPower 4 times to let you add 80 to your attacks for that turn.

Switch is good for moving Sleeping babys or heavy Sudowoodo's

Black Belt is for mid to late game, or if you get off to a slow start somehow. It adds 40 to your attack that turn, which can help take down those big scarys if they ever get set up.

If you properly troll your opponent's set up with pokemon reversal and keep hitting for consistent damage you should be able to take 3-4 prizes pretty easily. The last 2 are the most difficult. You may have to resort to Baby Walling, while setting up a Sudowoodo for a big Push Over.

The thing about Hitmonchan hitting 1-for-20 and 3-for-50 was intense because most basics had less than 50 hp, and most stage 2's had less than 100.

At this point, if a pokemon has less than 60 health as a basic people consider it low. If a stage 2 has less than 110 hp, its low.

Also, the nature of the game. What was once a one-off draw bill oak attach pass is now... not so. You can simply collector bam bam bam rare candy stage 2. Come HG-SS, it will be back to Pokemon Breeder; but the point remains - 20 for one is not much.

Todays version of Haymaker is Zekrom donk. Todays version of Blastoise is Emboar. Todays version of chansey/alakazam is Reshiram/Zekrom + Reuniclus; except with higher damage intake it lowers the effectiveness.

Sawk is a dud rare. Sudowoodo has merit; it's interesting and could have a combo in regirock/stark mountain, but it's a dud holo.

The thing is, in this format(hgss on), nothing but Zekrom donk is attacking turn 1. Even then its not guaranteed to be consistent.
The goal of this deck is to take a prize turn 1-2 and continue taking prizes quickly before your opponent can set up. As I mentioned before, the deck tends to run out of steam towards the mid-late game, but hopefully you will have fooled with their setup well enough to maintain the victory.

Honestly, I like the deck build.

1. The artistic and creativity of it alone is great. I meant especially your naming system there. I have to say I flat out loved it all.

2. Unless sudowoodo is built, your damage wont be that high. Though I do like the consistency of damage. Though against your weaknesses or if you are resisted you are kind of screwed. It all comes hand in hand.

3. It is nice to see a deck build that can keep up with ZPS (Zekrom/pachirisu/shaiymin) and even be its downfall(of ZPS, not itself. Just clarifying.) at that.

I've built a deck liek this before, and i have to say, one really easy thing to maek late game better is the inclusion of either a 1-1 CInccino or a 1-1 Zoarak (or in this particular deck, 1-1 Donphan). If you took out Cleffa and 1 other card, it doesn't cost you much room or consitancy, but lets you make an easy comeback against decks that still get up an goiing.

I could see this deck have potential at the begining of the game he may knock you out before you get ready to set up. But if they do get set up it dosent look good for this deck.

A steady damage output with no drawbacks is an interesting concept... of course, you'll probably lose a lot, but hey. Once Catcher comes out I can see this thing as semi-viable.

Pokemon catcher would make this deck a million times better. Reversal will have to do for now though.

I've played this thing a bunch using the playtcg.me system. The deck runs real smooth. I donk'd this guy 4 times in a row who was playing a Magnezone/Emboar deck. It was only when he started with Reshi that we had a real game.

If you put the pressure on early, you can usually build up a Sudowoodo with 4-5 energy on it by attacking with Sawk or Tyrogue.

I had thought about putting in Donphan... but I don't want to have to hold on to the evolution while I search out the basic and vice versa. I rather like not having to worry about discarding vital things with Juniper. Also I have no way to deal with Earthquake damage, and Tyrogues dont like being earthquaked.

I did have a problem when an opponent dropped two oddishes at once and I was unable to KO both of them before they became a Vileplume. But I think that situation is rare.

I'm probably gonna cut that one twins out for another PONT or something. I've never been behind long enough for it to be useful.

Surprised you haven't considered seeker to help get a cheap win, maybe you've tested it and it doesn't work, but It seems viable.

I need to keep my hand replenished to find more plus powers/junk arms if I am to T1 someone.
If I could juniper/pont and seeker in the same turn maybe... There's no other real use for seeker in this deck.

Play a shaymin to move energy to sudowoodo! I like it and it doesn't have the drawbacks donphan would have(namely self inflicting bench damage) I wonder if it beats reshiram.
