Scramble Energy Question

if i have more prixe cards than my opponent can i use Scramble Energy to provide Dark Energy? or no because Darkness is Special Energy?

It works like Rainbow Energy, it provides the color for Dark, but doesn't give the ten bonus damage. Also, the card, Darkness Energy, is a Special Energy CARD, not really a Special Energy.

1# scramble energy only provides three rainbow energy when you have more prizes left. 2# when you have less prizes left it only provides one colorless energy. 3# Yes scramble will provide the darkness energy you need but no bonus that darkness would normally give.

And here is the card text to help!

Scramble energy
" Scramble energy can be attached only to an Evolved Pokemon ( excluding Pokemon-ex ). Scramble Energy provides 1 colorless Energy. While in play, if you have more Prizes left than your opponent, Scramble Energy provides every type of Energy but provides only 3 in any combination at a time. If the Pokemon Scramble Energy is attached to isn't an Evolved Pokemon ( or evolves into Pokemon-ex ) discard Scramble Energy. "

the answer for ur question is no but cuz a diferent reason scramble provides 3 energies of anykind but only when u have more prizes than ur oponent while this dont happen scramble only provides colorless (and just 1 energy)

Darkness and Metal energy (as units not cards) are a type just like any other so of course Scramble would provide them if you have more prizes than your opponent.

And of course they would not get the added effects since Darkness and Metal energy (as units not cards) don't. Its the specific cards that do.

If i use Scramble to power Dark Ampharos' Shock Bolt (which says "discard all Electric Energy attached to Dark Ampharos" do i have to chunk the Scramble? also, out of left field question. Can i use rare candy to get around the no evolution 1st turn rule or is there strictly no evolutions 1st turn? thanks everyone.

Yes with dark amphy's attack you would have to chuck the whole scramble energy if you had more prizes but other wise no. Also yes you can rare candy first turn of the game or your first turn of the game to evolve a pokemon, or just to evolve it when the pokemon first comes out.
