Thanks, as always, for coming!

You guys missed out on the best draft ever, though. We had 5 teams drafting in a single pod of 10 people. We went with 2 Expedition, 2 Aquapolis and 1 Skyridge pack per player.

After drafting, each team sat down and pooled their cards to make two decks.

But, that's not all! I had given each player 8 packs of POP1 boosters to open and add to the decks as they saw fit. There were quite a few Maquerains flying around. We played a 5-round round robin.

For anyone who has never played Rochester, you really should try it. The drafting is almost as much fun as the game itself!
 
....And who knew that in the end, the POP 1 packs would actually be more useful than the other cards that we got our hands on....lol. Our best starts were torkoal and poliwag (amnesia, bubble combo) and me and Rob were able to get our T-Tar ex from POP 1 out in 2 or 3 different battles. That was crazy, I guess I appreciate POP 1 packs a bit more for giving us 1st place...I think we tied with another team, but great turn out for the events, Jared.

Thanks for holding the pre and side event, alot of fun and thanks for Yoshi and Rob to help me out with my car trouble afterward :thumb: . Also I hope our team procedure questions didn't annoy you much Jared, lol....I shouldn't have a problem forgetting about how things go till next year ( I hope we can have another one next pre).
