Sellers and buyers without PayPal

I've been doing a lot of overseas buying recently and I've convinced a few sellers to ship to the United States. The problem is, sometimes the sellers had only intended on selling locally and did not have PayPal. Some ask to transfer the money to their bank account directly.

What kind of solutions have you guys come up with when a situation like this arises? Have you sent concealed cash before? Try to get them to get a PayPal? I'm just curious what other people have/would have done.

I'd say Paypal or bank deposit is good. Sending money in the mail is quite risky, but can be done. If you are buying from an untrusted source, its best to use Paypal.
