does anyone have a guess at the number of rounds, players, and slots there will be at the SENIORS LCQ?
Does anyone also know if the grinder is going to be like top cut exactly?

really top 8, that is not very good, thats the same as hawaii and there was half the people there was in 2009
 
You know the grinder is single elimination now, yes?

The number of people who get an invite from the grinder has nothing to do with the number who show up for it. It goes according to how many spaces there are in the main tournament.

I would guess at 5-6 rounds for the Seniors that make it that far.
 
yes i know, how many spaces do you think will be or, the maximum nuber of people let in to the tournament overall
 
They guarantee 8 spaces, and I wouldn't count on there being any more than that. There could be, but it's impossible for anyone to say right now.

They aren't going to cap the LCQ, and if you are in line on time then you'll get in.

But you don't have to take my word for it, here is the official line . . .

The other bit of bad information that I want to dispel is that lining up early is a good idea. It isn’t. Getting there about 9:00 when registration starts is plenty early enough. If you tend toward paranoia, get there around 8:30 but please don’t get there before staff arrives at 8:00. Camping out at five in the morning serves no purpose other than to make you tired..
