Well I gotto Gamemaster games around 9:40 finished my trades and checked my flariados decklist to make sure it looked good. I had play tested the night before against my decks worst matchup bannete ex and seeing as I won 6 out of the seven matches I played against bannete ex I was sure my secret tech would knock out all bannete ex competition it came up against. Well now on to the report.
Well I found out that Quintin was going to be my first opponent. Well you see Quintin had done a ton of bragging saying he would kick my butt and all of that well lets see who kicked whose butt.
Round 1: Quintin ( Bannete ex with Mightyena ex)
I started with an Eevee and he started with 2 shuppets. So I go first and CFF get a spinarak. He then attaches a rainbow nergy and ascensions for bannete ex. So next turn I topdeck a holons magtrode retreat eevee and send up spinarak evolve spinarak to ariados and spider trap his active bannete ex. He flips for asleep and hits heads so then he shady moves a damage counter to my benched Eevee and then proceeds to use Tv reporter discards a mentor and shadow chants for the knockout. So I had gotten one more spinarak last turn so I send it up attach an energy to my benched eevee and pass. He tv reporters again discards an adventurer and shadow chants knockout. Then I attached a castform to eevee and sent up another spinarak by then he had 2 bannete ex's and a mightyena ex out. So he topdecks sableye excavates discards mentor and shadow chants knockout. I send up my eevee drop my tech umbreon ex attach energy and darkness fang knockout. After that I proceed to knockout 2 bannete ex's and 2 sableys and thats game. (1-0)
Round 2: Zero ( Draggy ex D with flygon D)
To make this short he sets up I don't end of story. (1-1)
Round 3: Drew (Mercury)
He gets the T2 gardy but I drop the T2 evolutionary flame with full flame Reactive poison for 70 then he hits tails on burn so knockout. After that I proceeded to knockout 2 garys and a starmie After that he couldn't recover so I won. (2-1)
Round 4: Alex (Gardy ex D)
He gets the T3 gardy ex so game. (2-2)
So I have to win the next round to make it to top 4.
Round 5: Sorry forgot your name (Gatrqueen)
I drop the T2 combo and then spider trap and knockout all of his gatrs. (3-2)
Yes I made it and what do I play bannete ex
Top 4: Rico (Bannete ex)
Game 1:
He gets T2 bannete I drop the T2 combo but it's not enough to take him down and my secret tech was prized. (0-1)
Game 2:
This game was awesome. He gets T3 bannete ex and T4 Catty ex. Well I get everything so it's a battle of the prizes and it turns up prize count is 2-1 in his favor. Well he had a Catty ex with 60 damage on it from my secret tech and he just could not topdeck an energy so he retreated his Catty ex I reversal'd it back up and Darkness'd fang'd for the knockout. (1-1)
Game 3:
He got everything I got nothing end of story. (1-2)
Well I got third place so now I have to take revenge and beat Rico at the next CC.
