what happens when you skill hack an electivire ?
since you dont have any lightning energy could you discard none and do 120 because it says all lightning not one or 2 and you may not you have to
also someone said to me there was a ruling that shiftry ex would need 3 lightning and 1colorless energy just to use that attack with skill hack because of a new ruling is this true ??

Please use the attack name you are asking about.
There may be just one Electivire now, but soon there will be more.

For Giga Imapact, if Shiftry ex has no :lightning energy or Rainbow-like energy attached to it, it can only do the regular damage that doesn't require a discard, 60 damage.

If Shiftry ex has at least one :lightning energy or Rainbow-like energy attached to it, then it can discard that and do the 120 damage.
It has to be able to discard at least one energy in order to get the bonus damage.
Note that if it decides to do the discard, ALL :lightning and/or Rainbow energy that is attached.must be discarded.

There is no ruling that Shiftry ex has to have all the energy required to do the attack.
The new ruling is that if an energy discard is required, Shiftry ex needs to be able to do it in order to use the attack.
In this case, "all" means at least one. "Zero" will not suffice.
