Silverwind

Hi, I was just at the Citys with my friends and one of them was playing with a Dustox EX (LM) with the safeguard. He used Silverwind which does 40, and 30 + next turn if one of your pokemon does damage to your opponent. There was a controversy that if the opponent's defending pokemon was switched out, the 30+ effect would be eliminated. I just wanted to double check if thats the right ruling . Thanks

Q. Which Pokémon is the Silver Wind effect attached to?
A. The effect is attached to the Defending Pokémon that was attacked by Masquerain's Silver Wind. If the Defending Pokémon retreats to the Bench, that effect is removed. (EX:Hidden Legends FAQ)
