Ok so after last week and my poor showing with QueenHatter I decided I would make a deck that fit my playing style, fast and risky.. and what better deck than Skittles. Last week after states, OLD SCHOOL PLAYER contacted me and showed me the deck and I was like wow this cool and seems good, I may as well play it for cali 
Now what is Skittles, its Ho-oh/Togekiss.. during the week I saw various versions of it posted and kind of laughed at the bashing it was getting, but I ignored it because I knew the deck is decent.... so on to the tournament... FYI: LIST I USED IS NOT ON THE GYM
We get to Cali at 2 AM, and DukeFireBird let's us stay with him, I playtest with Crono Sabre and own his face lol... then i TRY and sleep but Crono snores >.> So I get 2 hours sleep..
I register, do an interview for the podcast.. and wait for the tournament..
Round 1: Kirstin(Magmortar/Typhlosion)
He mulligans and I see that it's Magmortar and say ok w/e. My start is Ho-Oh woo... I draw Pach and have to slowly charge up Ho-oh for 2 turns, then I retreat for Pach, CFF... and start to set up.. he ko's 1 Pachy, I ko a mag with Ho-oh, he ko's it I flip tails.. then I bring up Togekiss and ko it... The game is back and forth, and I end up winning on time 3 prizes to 2.... so see the deck DOES NOT have to donk someone to win.
Round 2: Ownage Man(Togekiss/Magmortar)
He played my dad last week so I knew his deck... I start out with Pach, and T2 Clay... I get it and he gets T2 Magmortar/Clay.. he ko's pachy and I bring up Ho-oh.. I get a rare candy and Celio for a Togekiss.. I see that i still have 17 energy left in my deck.. I use Togekiss's power.. I only needed 4 because I had energy and PlusPower in my hand... I get 0 ENERGY by then I havd 17 Energy in a I think 36 card deck... so I end up getting owned in the face lol.... so maybe i DO have to donk to win..

Round 3: Deck Out Man(Rhyperior/Absol/Claydol)
He mulligans... I see rhyperior.. and cry a little... I know what I have to do.. I start with T2 dol BUT have 2 Night M and a TGW in hand... not good since he started with Absol... he passes I got get a candy UGGH.. I use pach for Togepi.Ho oh,and Baltoy... he discards both night m wooo >.> I draw use master ball and get a togekiss... I played it and get 6 energy(4 different) and I attach them to ho oh and swing away... I win easily

Round 4: Electric Man(trode/amphy)
I get a T2 Ho oh and ko his pachirisu... he uses electrodes double ko attack and I flip heads on Ho oh to stay alive... I win and he only draws 1 prize...

Round 5: Grass Man(random grass deck)
I just win.... lol

So I see there is a guy with an all water deck and im like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Round 6: Water guy >.> (palkia/swampert/mantine)
He T2's my togepi with Mantine... I bring up ho oh, claydol for 6.... toge/candy/kiss... gg easy from there

Simple: Winner in.. loser most likely out...
He starts with Ralts.. me a baltoy... he does 10.. i draw pach.. retreat and attack with pach(that was my 2nd turn btw) and then he gets T2 Kirlia and im like NOOO... I lock in beach T2 and I get a turn or 2 to set up.. I get Ho oh out and then swing away and its easy from there.. gg GG

Now the Electivire guy doesn't know that Top 8 is about to start.. so we are waiting for him.. and then it takes him about 10 minutes to shuffle...
Top 8 supposed to start at 6:30.. starts at 6:45....
anyway..
Top 8: Leo(Magkiss)
Game 1:We both know this isn't going to last very long.. We both get T2 claydol and I get a T2 kiss and take the first prize.. he gets T3 kiss and ko's my Ho oh, but I flip heads woo... so i ko him back then he ko's me and I flip heads... then i do 100.. he ko's me.. tails... I ko him with Togekiss.. he bring up a Mag X then ko's me and my other ho oh only has 3 energy.. and he wins.. 2 prizes to 0.. gg

Game 2: He gets T2 two claydol.. togekiss.. and magmortar... I put his pach to sleep.. then I get a turn because luckily I got another basic in play...I ko his pachirisu with ho oh.. he kos me with magmortar.. I look at his bench.. there is nothing too fearful on it.. and if I flip heads on this ho oh... i had energy+PP to OHKO this magmortar...I flip tails... I really had nothing on the field.. he wins 4 prizes to 0.. gg's

Well... I had a good time and lots of people ther were saying GJ on using a deck that was thought just to be a giant donk(and I'm sure there will be posts saying it's still a donk) and that's fine... However, it's not that the deck IS a donk, it's just that it CAN AND DOES outspeed more than 60% of the format and allows you to give them the early beatdown.
