Round 5
Me. Vs. (I Believe his last name was Wetherbee)
Flygon Deckout

I really look up to this guy. we had a very fun game, my FGD Skyler Style Deck vs. His flygon deckout with dusknoir. I already know that he is a really good player. we both get pretty good starts, but he has two good cards prized. He azelfs for one. For a while i was worried because he was not taking control. part of me was thinking he had nothing, (even though he had claydol out) and part of me is thinking he was waiting for me to do something so he can counter. Somehow i maintain control, killing flygon, and psychic locking for a while, just for the most part keeping control and playing wisely. early game he dark palms my dusknoir, that was annoying. all in all, Great learning experience.
Great game dude
(4/1)

Ya that's Steven W. He IS a good guy.

Well.... If you could make me a Modified-legal Feraligatr d/Flygon d/Deoxys d, I would love that. GOD That deck was fun to play.

On a more serious note, I may take you up on that seriously for later, but for now, its BR's, and when I said I would play Absol/Absol if you got one to me, I was serious (Wow, I used that word alot in that sentence), so do that ^_-

Figured it would be similar to an SP Toolbox, but with Absol SW used as a starter. Maybe something like...

4 Absol SW
2-2 Absol G LvX
1-1 Luxray GL LvX
2 Crobat G
1 Hochkrow G
1 Skuntank G
2-1 Uxie LvX

Then the SP Trainer engine, maybe with Moonlights? Could do fun things like Luxray up a Baltoy, drop Absol SW, attach, retreat, raid. Keep in mind I have never played an SP deck outside of screwing around with a bad Honchkrow snipe deck, so my ideas may not be sound.

i was thinking about easy prizes with honchy and absol SW early game, (combine sp darkness, one drop raid, and a couple crobats for knock out) that way you can afford to properly time your luxrays.

So, Honchy start, Honcho's up a Moonlight, next turn, Absol->Raid? With Crobats and a Poison Structure that could be brutal, and you always have the option to target attack instead of retreat from there.... thats actually pretty cool. You are much better at this then me.

yeah, the problem is consistantly stopping their draw power. i.e always having three sp pokemon. THAT is why i would recommend maybe two weavile g, free retreat cost, so you can have it up, use call for family, and free retreat next turn. i will have to see how playable it actually is. and nah, I would say you are just as good as me. For sure.

This deck is sounding more and more entertaining the more we talk about it, I cant wait to give it a shot. Screw Machamp, ill take him out with G'd Uxies. Is Weavile CFF for 2 or 3? I wonder if Call wouldn't be a better choice. Honch start, call, next turn attach a dark for Target Attack, saving you a gain later. Although Weavile isnt bad as an attacker if needed.

:Edit: OoooOOoo Call leaves me with 8 Special Energy, which would suck... Maybe not....

oh ya! lol. stupid hampster man! i thought three because the concept of using CFF with weavile is to get THREE total sp pokemon XD. lol, wow.
