I think Ruling on this Poke-Body is stated wrong. This is the way it should be? Each player can evolve thier active from thier hand or with a trainer (rare candy). They cannot evolve a pokemon on thier bench unlessI missed a past ruling an cannot find it?

Cradily ex affects their Active Pokemon, Kabutops affects Benched. Thus, if you played a Rare Candy when your opponent had a Cradily ex in play, you could only evolve your Benched Pokemon. (Or your Active, if you/they had Kabutops in play.)

Oops, we goofed. Kabutops DOES only affect Benched Pokemon (just like Omastar only affects Active Pokemon). It will be corrected in the next edition of the Compendium-EX.
