It was recently ruled here that the effect of Ludicolo's Cheerful Voice doesn't go away if Ludicolo goes to the Bench because it's a power. Is the text on Slaking MT correct, then, that states the effect of Energetic Impulse does go away if Slaking goes to the Bench?
Well, you see, it states that it goes away.
Cheerful Voice doesn't state that.
The default is that it doesn't go away unless it is stated that it goes away.
