Sniper Decks (HGSS - on)

What chances would a Sniper deck hold in the HGSS - on format?

It sounds like a fun idea, though I dont know how'd it work out in the slightest. I mean conceptually it sounds like it would work fine, but then I remember the speed of Reshiboar and ZPS and I begin to doubt. So can anyone spare any advice before I get myself slaughtered(Or hopefully not slaughtered)?

Depends on the kind of sniper deck, one that immediately comes to mind is Kingdra Prime putting some damage counters on the opponents bench and then hitting them with Mandibuzz. The best starter for a deck like that is probably Cleffa and then maybe you could add in Zoroark to counter Zekrom. Sounds like an interesting idea, I might try making a list later tonight.

Blastoise UL with Feraligatr prime is nice sniper. It's quite slow though, but I play Mantine HGSS as a starter, it helps a little. Zekrom eats this deck easily, but it can counter Emboar/Reshiram decks.

I was actually hoping to use Simisear/Yan Prime/Mandibuzz. Maybe Zoroark to be splashed in as a good tech.

Simisear can snipe with a 20,20,20 Yan can hit with a 40 anywhere, and Mandibuzz can do a 50damage snipe which with the other damage can generally do the job. Zoroark can take out the Reshiram and Zekrom menace (With special darkness energy, which I'd have.) and Mandibuzz with her other attack can take out most stage twos with her second attack with an expert belt and a few special darkness energies.

This is just my though so far. Since it is tri color I'd have 3Energy exchanger and 3 Interviewers questions. Other trainers are for draw power or getting what I need fast. Except for Switch and Seeker. 5 Fire energy, 5 Grass energy, 3 Dark energy, and 4 Special Dark Energies. Thoughts so far?

Blastoise UL and Floatzel (from HGSS ???) Is MUCH faster than BlastGatr. Run Cleffa as a starter. I was skeptical at first, but a consistent list can net you a Blastoise, DCE, and Floatzel by turn 3 at the latest. I've hit the set up turn two several times.

Ieasily stands toe to toe with Donphan, Reshiram Varients, and basically every thing but Zekrom.

Pretty much Blastoise with either Floatzel or Gatr.
Mandibuzz with Kingdra Prime I also looked into recently, it works surprisingly well, I was impressed.

Unfortunately but are weak to Zekrom, although I suppose Zekrom would OHKO regardless.

Obviously Gengar Prime will become Best Sniper in Format (BSIF) with a whopping 40 damage (or 10-10-10-10 if you're totally l337 haxx0rz) for two energies.
